First time watching the carts...totally hooked, these things are bloomin awesome.

I remember back in the early 90s, Perry Grondstra, the Dutchman, won this race in his superkart, for the World Championship. His fastest lap in the race was an outright track record. For that feat he was awarded prize money from Shell. I think it was a grand, but dont' quote me on that, been 30 years give or take. Damned things weighed 195 kgs back then, including driver, was before all the deadly accidents that fattened them up. Nice change from Donnington, Oulton Park etc, this is a great track for these karts, even more so for the singles I suspect.

Nice smooth track. Looks like a lot of fun. Had my karting days way back in the 80's. 100cc Yamaha lay down enduro kart. Only two races. Watkins Glen and Pocono.

I've only ever ran 125CC Shifters and Rotax MAX on kart tracks, I actually think these might be nicer and a little easer to drive than a 125cc Shifter since you run on actual race tracks with less sharp turns.

Hi Jack I’ve been following you for some time now since you came from 125’s to Div 1. I raced Formula E (Div 1) from 1988 until 1996. Actually raced against Carl Hulme. Bet you didn’t think he was that old! Good to see you venture into Europe. When the British Championship began to fade in the mid 90’s a number of us went to race in the French championship and they made us very welcome. In fact my last ever Superkart race was at Magny Cours when it was still being used for F1. We shared the bill with the DTM as well. Keep posting mate and add some extra behind the scenes as in this video because it adds a lot of interest seeing the people involved. Carl is trying to do that in his videos as well.
