Kreitler Kompetitor Fork Stand for Trainers
The Kreitler Kompetitor Forkstand for stationary trainers allows you to remove your front wheel and mount your fork to a solid base. It’s extremely useful for:
- Adding stability during intense efforts (like finish line sprints)
- Better utilizing tablet or monitor stands when using virtual training and racing programs like Zwift, TrainerRoad or The Sufferfest
- Swapping between bike-types without having to adjust height with wheel-off trainers

    That’s no joke, got mine with the “Killer Headwind” fan and the weighted Flywheel and that thing works me hard and feels like you’re literally on the road. Just a note: if you’re just starting out, do not open the air intake in the fan thinking it will be easier…..I thought that I was going to die. Start with it almost closed. I absolutely love these rollers!

    Can you guys create a smart roller that would be compatible with your current rollers for swift? That would be awesome!!

    Why hasn't Kreitler developed an interactive roller or accessory to adjust the resistance based on input from Zwift? I've been holding out for this, but may have to choose from existing options if Kreitler doesn't bring a product to market. I've enjoyed my Kreitler rollers since 1996 and hope that that continues.

    Can you use a hybrid bicycle on rollers with this forkstand?

    The axle of the front wheel of this bike is well behind the center of the front roller. I thought it was supposed to be directly over it. Please clear this up for me. Thank you.

      Hey Eric, Thanks for the question. To clarify, the front wheel can either be a touch behind the front roller or centered (axle to drum). The main thing is, you never want to have the front axle ahead of the center of the drum.

      @markhill9275 Před rokem

      Yep, way to far behind, creates surging or bouncing.

    Does it matter which side flywheel is used? Dos having the headwind fan affect anything?

    • @kreitler3317
      @kreitler3317 Před 5 lety

      Yes, the Flywheels are either "left" or "right" side for how they attach to the frame. The Headwind Fan gives you added, adjustable resistance. Many people choose the fan and a flywheel to add significant resistance for various training goals.

      @@kreitler3317 how much resistance can you add before you ride off the rollers? Any plans for a smart flywheel (variable resistance via computer) for zwift?

  • @seove1

    How much does the flywheel weigh? I have one but forgot how much it weighs.

    • @kreitler3317
      @kreitler3317 Před 6 lety

      The Flywheel weighs about 19 pounds.

    • @seove1
      @seove1 Před 6 lety

      Thanks! I was guessing 20 pounds. That helps me when comparing to other flywheels.

    do you need the power meter? i only have speed and cadence sensor and rollers

    • @kreitler3317
      @kreitler3317 Před 7 lety

      You can get away with using the speed and cadence sensor rather than power meter.

    • @seove1

      I understand that it will be difficult to do group rides without a power meter.

  • @jjpriorbulk

    Are there settings you would recommend if you only have a rear wheel speed sensor and are using a killer headwind? The generic rollers don't seem to give enough wattage credit.
