Do you use any type of adhesive on the belt, if so which? and do you apply it to the entire belt before the print starts or just to the area that the print needs? Love this video, glad I came across it as I'd given up on my cr30 because it just had no consistency, so it's just sat gathering dust for the last 6 months but I really want to make it work because it offers possibilities that other printers don't.
I dont understand why your belt rollers are so high, on mine if i crank the bed all the way down there is still at least a half inch gap between my straight edge and the belt roller
Very very good explanation.....thankx and greetings from Germany!
I have an Ultra, but didnt know it responds to a touchscreen externally
How are you getting those confidence monitors from yolobox? Just splitting the output?
Yes sir. The main monitor also has a loop through.
Need some more 3d printing content from you! Super informative 👍
When using a 4k camera on the input, does it really keep the resolution when you crop in? Does in scale back from a downscale 1080p or the real 4k input?
If you have a 4k camera coming in on a 4k HDMI cable, it scales to the resolution of that portion of the 4k image. Then depending on what resolution you're streaming, it will upscale to that.
thanks a million best friend!!
Question: I have access to an ATEM mini (original not the pro) that I use with OBS, I've been getting pro jobs for streaming conferences and seminars with virtual guests and on set guests, I need to upgrade my gear but the budget is tight since I am also upgrading cameras (I will be getting Panasonic Lumix S5 ii since I already work with panasonic cameras and also do video and photography work) I'm interested in a setup that can handle "supersource" or equivalent, and graphics, I have been thinking of getting the Yolobox Ultra since it offers a lot of features even 4K streaming for almost the same price as an Atem Minie Extreme ISO and it is ery portable and fast to setup, but I've seen very unfavorable comments on Yolobox's (Pro) reliability for streaming in professional settings, I don't mind audio issues with internal mixer since I mix audio externally with digital audio mixer, I'm interested in your (anyone) opinion about getting this Yolobox Ultra for this type of work or what would you get knowing the budget to be tight, or would you get something like the RGBLink Mini Edge or any other video switcher.
It's hard to say. I love the Ultra for simplicity, small form factor and all its capabilities. But since it is constantly being updated, there can be issues if you're loading the latest firmware. My biggest complaint is that I still get some dropped frames, which isn't good when filming moving action. They really need to resolve that once and for all. As for reliability, I haven't experience those issues. The ATEM's are pretty rock solid, but they do take more setup. So for things like weddings, funerals, conferences and standup live streams I would probably go with the Ultra, just so I don't have such a lengthy set up and tear down time. Basically I can keep an affordable price and still make good money. But if you've got the time, and the client has the money, you might want to go with the ATEM Extreme. But again, you can bring in up to 5 guests in the Ultra without any additional computers. I like this, but haven't tested that many guests yet.
Love your videos- sad that you have so few subscribers!
Thanks Jeff, I just wish I had more time to make these videos.
@@dannydodgelive Time is a cruel mistress!
Thank you for the content. I am glad I found this before embarking on Honeycomb Storage Wall builds. The 2.5 day per 210mm swath is rough but will be better with a bed that doesn't destroy the print. Hang in there! (get it, cuz they can hang on the wall)
So I started out using this video and really helped. I had several prints go really wel. Than changed filaments and few more good prints. Then just stopped printing well, it’s like it doesn’t have the same flow right on one side of the bed like I do the other and nothing adheres to the bed anymore
Thanks man i really appreciated the info, i spent an entire day trying to get it level worked the first time following you!
That's awesome!
Nice!
Great video I made a video about using the green screen to use motion graphics MOGRTs on the YOLO too many different uses for green screen with the yolo including for stingers etc so that you can use them when switching live
That's awesome. I'll take a look.
THANK YOU for making this! After buying this printer I've been frustrated trying to figure out how to get my prints to properly adhere to the belt. So many content creators just talk about how cool this printer is and don't mention all the work you need to do to get it to print properly
I like the idea and features of the OBSBot Tail Air but the video quality isn’t great especially when zooming in.
Hi Danny
Hi IDJMic! I didn't realize the OBSBot had bad quality video. Do you have one? I was wondering if it might be a good camera to get.
I think it was released a little early lots of bugs still being worked out. But yeah when you use the zoom feature image quality goes down. Yes I have one.
Cheers man this was ultra helpful had some serious issues and confusion when setting it up initially my only question is wether or not you move that one the two screws that alows it to move freely back up?
I'm sorry, which screws are you referring to?
Wow. 10k views. Way to go Danny! Very informative video!
Thanks Chris. People need help when the manufacturer doesn't provide it.
Great video cuz!
Thanks Crhis!
Was this streamed from ultra?
Your videos are awesome!
Is this feature to crop (zoom) only available on the Ultra?
No it's on the pro as well, I can't say for certain about the og and the mini but I think it's there too
@@signaturaphotography not on the OG
@@idjmic OK thanks for the clarification
The link you posted is only for the Pro, can't find the Ultra!
Here you go Joe: Pro - cinerails.com/xstreambay-xmod/ Ultra - cinerails.com/xmod-ultra/
Nice tutorial
Thank you so much
Thanks for this. I've been having so much trouble with my CR-30 that I don't really use it at all. I'll try this and see if I can finally get it running well.
Thanks for the video! I just ordered one for Christmas, this video will help me a lot setting the printer up!
Thank you Danny 😊 How is the printer now, 7 months later…? I hope it’s consistent still? and you can get stock of belts for a good 10 years?…
Sadly, I haven't had a lot of jobs to use on it. So I can't talk with experience on that.
Great tutorial !
Thanks Monte! But yours are better ;-)
Xstreambay cage for the Yolobox Ultra and Pro is same or different?
The Pro and Ultra are different sizes. He has posted the wrong link to to Ultra!!! I can't find the link either at this website.
@@JoeMicalizziMPC Sorry I didn't get notified that you commented Joe. Here's a link to the cages: cinerails.com/xstreambay-xmod/ cinerails.com/xmod-ultra/

It's brilliant that you can do this with the yolo...
A feeler gauge works well as well.
😋
Fantastic video!! The step by step is perfect. I am teaching my 5th graders how to 3d print. And soon, how to 3d design! I have an Anet A8, AncherMake, FlashForge Inventor, and arriving today... Creality CR-30.
That's really cool!
Hi Danny. Informative video. How long have you had your CR-30? How many do you have? How reliable has it been. Looking to add it my small print farm. Have you had any issues with prints NOT sticking to the belt after having/using it for some time? Thank you for you time.
Sadly, I don't use it as much as I thought I would. I just need to get the right printing jpbs for it. So I don't feel like I have enough time on it to answer that quesiton.
Holy crap, after hours and hours and hours of screaming at this thing, your guide fixed my issues. Not only will I subscribe, if you're ever in the NYC area I'll buy you a drink! Question! What slicer do you typically use with this thing?
Sorry I'm just now seeing your comment. That's awesome to hear it helped! Thanks for letting me know.
Excellent video, thank you.
... thanks! just subscribed.😉
great video! thx
Great video! Thank you for sharing your experience.
It's not that big! Looked massive when I first looked at it. Very cool dude
using light was a smart idea
what is the best software to use for the cr30?
I'm not sure on that question.
Love the video.
Nice
Thank you so much for this. I'm a visual learner and this was fantastic.
Thanks for the video, helped me to finally get my CR30 printing perfectly. I'll say that earned you a subscribe!
I'm really glad it helped!
Great and helpful video. This machine cost a lot of money so not having it work out of the box was very frustrating. I own about seven printers for my small business and I thought this could be the next thing to elevate it. But having non stop quality issues was driving me insane. My nozzle was too close to the bed so it was exploding filament everytime it moved up. So following your guide instead of crealitys documentation saved me. Thank you
That's great to hear!
