This is the maned wolf, at first glance it looks like an oversized, short tailed, long legged red fox, but it’s not a fox, nor is it a wolf, it’s its own animal, it lives in south America, and it smells like burnt rotten rats, and they let out a loud, bark like call when vocalising.

Our train car was very empty - so the etiquette is just go for it! We found out because a family showed us how. The stewardess had shown the family previously how to do it. Oh it's gonna be such a nice trip!!! Enjoy.
Oh, our other tip, at least if you enjoy coffee - it was good value and fun to go to the dining car for breakfast. If you eat there they will refill your coffee cup! We love coffee so this was great for us.

I'm surprised he's not threatening any of them. Are they always this timid?
They are an extremely shy species. This tradition has gone on for decades and is very controlled. Had anyone made a sudden movement, he would have gotten so scared and ran away. The director sits there and quietly talks to people telling them about the maned wolf.
@@VagabondWay So would it be rare to find a maned wolf that was willingly aggressive? Because I heard they sometimes get a little touchy when threatened.

We camped there. All the accommodation looked nice and we didn't say in a place that didn't have nice services!
