Check this out… Here is the way to measure your shoulder pleat width. Measurement is according to your top size. I.e, XS/S/M/L/XL etc. -XS/S: The width of first pleat should be 2.5inches to 3 Inches maximum. -M/L: 3.5 inches -XL/XXL: 4 inches -XXL & plus: 4.5 inches, if you’re not comfortable with that then Maximum 5 inches. Not more than that. Don't worry about chest coverage. You can adjust it by spreading the pleats. More pleats in the pallu means more pleats over the chest, giving you better coverage and preventing any exposure.

Wearing on top of the navel gives the illusion of height. Esp if you’re short. Just below the navel is also fine. Depends on one’s comfort.

Opt for materials like pure silk, tissue, organza, tussar. Large/ broad prints/ horizontal stripes designs. Wear with puff/ruffle sleeve blouses. Wear heatless pleats. Hope this helps.
