Yes, that’s what we grew up on and it’s local so we support it. I do agree with you though, there are much better pastas out there, but at the end of the day, it’s a minimal difference in my opinion for this type of dish. Appreciate your support!

Man, I wish I met you and your channel a year or 2 ago. I grew my garden with sauce in mind, with a lot of different tomatoes. If I could eat Italian food, Mexican or Korean food any day of the week. I’ve been searching for an incredible thick & rich sauce for years. Thank you for sharing.

@@Faithful_Watchman Oh good, I believe I used 12 ounces in the video but it’s a matter of personal preference. But that would be the least I would use, if you like more,16 ounces which is 2 cups. Thanks! again!

Can an Italian tell me if it’s better to cook with Olive Oil or extra virgin? I was under the impression extra virgin was for salad dressing. If Italians and Italian Americans use it for cooking I’ll consider switching.
Not trying to dodge it, but it’s a loaded question. Really depends on preference. I go by the rule of if something needs to be light or that is breaded, I’ll use regular. Hope that helps and thanks for the question!

I made 10lbs of sausage using your recipe yesterday. The cherry tomato plants are growing now will come back to this recipe.

I got a little grinder with a stuffer. I was worried about too much garlic and salt. I had a little left that I fried, it was a little strong. I grilled a couple of links this morning, and they were perfect! In RI we had Silver Lake Sausage shop they closed a few years back. This was pretty close. Thanks to your video, I felt pretty confident in making it. Thanks again, Godfather!
@@mrmikev1 You got it, you can always adjust spices and salt accordingly, but that is the average rule of thumb for salt. 4 tablespoons for 10 pounds. There will be a noticeable difference as you let them sit overnight. The spices will corporate into the pork and won’t be so predominant the next day. Glad you enjoyed it!

Man, I can’t keep up with all these great recipes!! Another great one to try. Hey, would you be opposed to doing a series on side dishes that go with the main course? My wife and I always end up eating the same boring ones. You could go all over with like veggie variations, Mac n cheese, potatoes, and others I’m missing. If not no biggie, love your vids
