The most important part, folding the mitered corner, goes by too quickly, and is barely visible. Stopping at that point, to carefully, slowly, show, step by step each move before moving on, would have been so much more helpful.

❤ When I was a child, learning how to sew under my mother's tutoring, she repeated one tip over and over, "A seamstress uses her iron as much as her needle." Before you ever went to the machine, your preparations (prewashing, ironing, etc.) told me we were about to see a quality product being made. LOVE this from start to finish!

SUPER! These will be a perfect gift for my adult kids who have all given up paper napkins, paper towels, plastic food storage etc., and have gone back to more enviroment friendly not to mention less expensive "old" ways! My daughters-in-law complain they can't find ready-made cloth napkins that appeal to them in design or color. Thank you for this great simple but elegant homemade napkin pattern tutorial!! The buttons are a charming and functional touch as well!

I work in a High School Kitchen. I make the potholders. When I put the Insul bright near the outside, it retained it’s heat and what hot to the touch. I used batting in the middle. Then I tried batting on the inside and Insul bright in the middle. Still too hot. I wonder if I used Terry Cloth towels instead of batting? Our oven get really hot. Just curious.

A Styrofoam block used like an eraser should remove lint fabric from your cutting mat. I hate texting so I use the stupid microphone and it never works out for me sorry hope this helps

I have heard that Styrofoam cutting a block remove everything from your cutting mat like the Styrofoam packing in a microwave box… Try it it worked for me but I didn’t cut fleece but it would be worth trying.🙂
