I’m taking my ACT in 2 weeks. Kinda nervous and taking practice tests almost everyday and studying for 2-3 hours but hearing you say that you only need like 20 minutes and to treat the practice tests like the real thing has helped me take them more sparingly. Thank you for the upload!❤️

Another way to do the last problem, at least if I am correct, is like this: Stephan is driving at 40mph and Gertrude starts driving exactly an hour later. This means that Stephan is 40 miles ahead of Gertrude already. Knowing this, we can set up an equation to solve for x, where x is the total time that has passed before Gertrude caught up to Stephan: 40 (miles) + 40x (rate) = 0 (miles) + 50x (rate) 40 = 10x x = 4 I hope this helps and please let me know if my explanation is unclear or incorrect!

I'm taking the SAT in august and this is the section that is holding me back from 1500+. My last practice sat that I took I got 1 wrong in the reading, 2 wrong between both math sections, THEN 9 WRONG IN THE GRAMMAR. Its not even that I don't know the answers and rules. I think my issue is that I know way too many rules and overthink any normal english conventions. I used to actually do better in this section before studying it lol because I'd just go off what sounds right.

9:26 The answer should be 18.85. You multiply 2 times pi(3.141) times 3 which gives you 18.85

8:57 It should be 28.27 because you have to multiply 9 and 3.14 which is the pi symbol

I need to pass the math section with a 16 >0<PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE ancestors in heaven...I know that isn't the best place and time to ask for your help and power....but maybe if I post my prayer online, maybe it might get answered? I really need you alls help. This is the only thing that I need to graduate. LITERALLY! So please please please PLEASE help me.......(I'm sorry for the rant) but anyone else in the same position, taking theirs tomorrow, March 28th, 2023?? If so, we've got this!! Edit (01/11/2023) At the end of the story, I ended up graduating, magna cum laude. I got a passing score for my Math EOC. I took both the ACT and SAT to see if I can get a passing score to substitute for my Math EOC...I dont remember if I got a passing math score for that...All I have to say is..You HAVE to put in the work...STUDY STUDY STUDY...and the lady that is showing you all the formulas for the ACT is correct..for me they did show up on the test..not all but a majority...tip#1: write all the formulas that you remember/studied on the table before the test starts or repeat them to yourself REPEATEDLY..it helps (at least for me..its like your own personal formula sheet??) Tip #2 READ THE QUESTIONS CAREFULLY (but keep in mind time) BREAK DOWN THE QUESTION INTO PIECES (its easier to bite into a cake in little bits than as a whole right?)

I struggle with the questions where you need to make inferences based on the passage, however it was very helpful that in another one of your videos you discussed avoiding superlatives unless explicitly used in the text to support a certain argumental point. This avoiding of superlatives definitely helps to narrow down answer choices.
