I cannot love this tribute enough. Terry gave me my first job when I finished high school and I was honoured to work for him in 1978 and 1979. He taught me so much about how to treat customers and employees. He put up with this dumb 18 year old and I am forever thankful for the knowledge and wisdom he gave me. I think it was the best time of my life. Thank you for dedicating 50 years to music Terry!
I will not let you be forgotten. 🌌💯
I miss you so much❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
You can get the same effect with a pencil right?
Excellent!!! Great job!! Congratulations, Terry!!
Outstanding!!!
Well done!!!
Miss you.
❤❤❤❤
Very helpful suggestions!!
Odd question - has anyone used this for speech therapy to strengthen lips?
Y'all are amazing!

Excelente copa y backbores.
The vax got him then? No such thing as "died of natural causes at 41."
Awsome. Terry ❤
Happy for. you KEn. And Terry this is Arline. From Belize i Saw yoy up there. At the Shop when i wos. Up in Florida

I’m looking for Shallow V to Use instead of an extra shallow V to use all the time your chops feel at the end of a nights gig. I play lead trumpet commercially in a rock ‘n’ roll band so you see I need something with a little bit thicker rim, but not as thick as a TA screech I have about half of the distance and then I think my .620 MF 30 throat legends mouthpiece, which will be now Warburton mouthpiecewith a 30 throat and I think we have it made all in silver
Wouldn’t that be considered a double cup. I started with a 13B in college. I now play a Legends .620 H M F. 30 throat trumpet mouthpiece, with a very, very slim rim.
I had good experience with the commercial backbore n.y.num 4mc (pete rodrigues) Resulting in a more centered sound and good response in long-term performances, especially in the high and upper treble regions. I'm experimenting and improving towards a good result, I'm really enjoying it.
Gonna mis ya dude
rest in peace, matthew. the band isn't the same without you anymore.
Great sound. I'm using a Warburton 5D with an 8 standard backbore.
Great talk! I did not know much about this mouthpiece.
I could've used this 30+ years ago. Glad to see progress and people thinking outside the box.
Rest in Power Stewie Legend
Rest easy Matthew...gone to soon, but never forgotten...
Can't hear what you are saying most of the time. !

What are the little O-rings for?
To bad he did not lead a healthy lifestyle. He would still be making music. 🤷♂️
Great sound. Wow!
German taper with standard/american sized leadpipe... Is it an application that useful, or not? Any idea? I asked because I've a chinese flugelhorn(american tapers) and only mouthpieces that I found nearby stores are german taper-kind.
I have some originals from the 1830's and 1840's, and the shanks weren't standardised back then either, so obviously wacky shank-sizes are a flugel tradition. I don't even bother to try mouthpieces any more. I get my service guy to measure the inside of the lead-pipe and use the measurements to have mouthpieces made. I also have 1880's early Bb trumpets and mouthpieces, and they're all over the place too. It's like going into a hardware store, and instead of finding standardised staplers and staples, you run into a whole wall of junk that's been deliberately made to fit only one type. Leave it to some jackass with a pocket-protector and white tape holding his glasses together. They've always been around.
Warburton FL8 mouthpiece.. marvelous
Boight 8FL mouthpiece...awesome!!!
Is your chin always tucked up?
Respiración - Boquilla - trompeta. A estudiar!!!
Kim, Thanks for this video. I've read this info before, but it is a great help to have someone as knowledgeable as you talk me through it.
