      Thanks for listening. I play a bard in a 5E campaign that my friend DMs, set in Maztica-a pre-Colombian, South American-inspired continent. Though we only play once a month, I specifically wrote this music for that setting, and it's great to hear that others find it works well in their adventures. Have a great adventure.

    One thing that's nice about your tracks is that they loop well, however, be careful about adding in too strong of a melody like in this piece and in ismark's piece. It is very distracting when there is a loud melody that you're trying to talk over. This piece has great storytelling on it's own and is fantastic to listen to, but I can't use it in any game beause it is far too much. Ideally the music is much more background . Can't wait for more CoS stuff!

      Hey, I do appreciate the the constructive feedback. I will keep in mind for new compositions. :) Since this track is from an album, it is more melodic and thematic, unlike some of the more ambient tracks on the same album. I often use this particular track at the start of a session while the players are still getting ready, as it effectively sets the mood.

    Sorry to keep commenting on every one of these videos, but I am just so thrilled. I've heard some good unofficial COS soundtracks before, but most of them were just too much for actual background use during a game. But these are perfect! Inspirational and moody, but not obnoxious. I love that you didn't bog down every track with stereotypical vampire organ music (a few of course is good haha), which means I can use them in various campaigns, not just Curse of Strahd. Honestly, it doesn't get any better than this in my opinion. Thanks so much for sharing your inspiration with us!

      Yes! More Strahd music coming soon. My goal is to write music for all chapters. It is a huge undertaking though, so it will take some time. 🧛‍♂️ Travis‘ music is the best. Really love it.

    Hold long are your loops on average? Would you say there are very noticable?

      The individual tracks in this Curse of Strahd playlist are about 2 to 3 minutes each. It depends a little bit on the track if the loop points are noticable. If you listen closely you can hear them. If you put it on as background music, probably not so much. :)
