Very helpful. Thank-you. Note: this does flatten your image. So, if you want to keep the layers, save an original copy before you proceed.
where can I download these apps? thank you
you want to get a better Dynamic Range with the 5DSR ..... shoot between ISO 400 and 800 in Daylight and you will get way more Dynamic Range out of the Canon camera .....

Hi. How can You compare f2.8 70-200 zoom with ~f3.5 FF lens. Try 5DSR with ef85 f1.4L or even cheap 50mm f2.5 Macro and You will see image quality. Compare with best canon Prime lenses or compatible Zeiss lenses. Colour cast depends also which lens are You using, lens glass coating. I. E. I'm very happy owner of canon EF 80-200 f2.8. This lens is a piece of magic but gives warmer images than new Canon or Tamron G2 also 70-200. Background behind girl from PhaseOne is warmer than from other cameras. So, which one shows the truth? . There is also option to use lens converter nad take all images with the same lens. Many years ago I read an article where was pointed that 35mm cameras lenses have better glass and build control than medium format lenses because enlargement factor is bigger. I love 6x6 camera and traveled with suitcase of lenses but quality that gives recent dslr especially 5DsR is outstanding.
Very good❤❤
👍👍
Great version! Well done!

This option not seen in my ps cc , have in only # Destination space > Profile > Working RGB - Adobe RGB (1998), I also looked in the list of different color values, but # (WORKING RGB - sRGB IEC61966-2.1 ) there was none, help me please for fix it
Thanks -- BUT - The sound was terrible when you explained that each camera has 50MP sensors - The Phase One IQ250 shoots 14 bit, whereas the Hasselblad X1D shoots in 16-bit colour depth RAW, whereas the best the Canon (or any 35mm sensor) can provide is 14-bit. The 2nd issue is the impact of the larger sensor sizes and larger pixels. As noted the sound was terrible when you explained that each camera you used - What is clear is that the Canon 5DS R's 50.6MP sensor is 36mmx24mm - so a 4.14um pixel pitch. However, both the MF have 5.3um pixel pitch. The X1D/IQ250 are "small MF" (44x33). So larger pixel photosites. The 3rd issue you raised is colour cast -- well I am amazed by this observation -- how did you shoot each camera - did you use the SAME k colour temperature or setting? Given your observation it seems that the Canon was far far to RED -- fixed with one button press in post or in camera. I suspect user error.
Så fint🥲 jag ska åka med tomten i sommar /2022
Download button does not work on the website. :(
Works for me. What browser/OS are you on?
I thought that too - Because its a JSX file you will find since last update of browser it prevents the link from doing anything. You have to right click and choose "Save Link As" this will start the download but give you a warning - to complete it just click "Keep" - @Kjell Post, might be a good idea to zip these scripts up to make it easier for followers to obtain your brilliant work!
@@LaviDzine The download button has now been updated to download a zip file which contains the JSX file.

Great tip ref changing to document profile on screen menu. Thank you
we all know that we can fix the color cast in post production, i wanted to see the differences in tonality and color transitions. You know how the final image with professional retouching will look like between these system?
Please help. How to this at once for 200 photo.🥺🥺🥺
I would use the Image Processor: select all the photos in Bridge, then Tools > Photoshop > Image Processor and make sure the photos are saved in sRGB.
@@irstafoto thank you maannn!!!! İt's working👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻❤❤❤❤
Is it true that the 5DSR is noisier at base ISO (100) and has less dynamic range than its competitors (Pentax K-1, Nikon D850, Sony A7R, etc)?
Yes, i had it compared to D850 which at base (64) iso is much cleaner
@@qaiszureikat7146 So the 5DSR does show noise even at base ISO?
@@mauriciolacruz yes but its small you can see it when u pixel peep, all cameras have some level of noise even at base, the 5dsr is more pronounced but gorgeous files nonetheless its a pro camera
any way to preserve the punch of color from pro photo to srgb? it looks desaturated after exporting
Generally speaking: no. sRGB is a more restricted color space, i.e., it has a smaller gamut, so there will be certain saturated colors which can be shown in, e.g., Adobe RGB, but not in sRGB.
@@irstafoto oh ok so would u recommend to work on srgb from the beginning in photoshop? or any other way to compensate for the conversion
@@akoldrone5874 You should convert to sRGB as the last step, in order to preserve as much information as possible until you need to publish the photo. Think of Adobe RGB as numbers with decimals, e.g., 3.14159, and sRGB as integers, e.g., 3. If you truncate everything to integers and then do your calculations you will have a less accurate result than if you work with as many decimals as possible and then, as the last step, truncate the answer to an integer.
@@irstafoto ok so thats the best i can do? i mean im just trying to match the final result from what im seeing inside photoshop. but if is a nice punchy rich color image and then gets washed out when i convert to srgb it seems weird i want to go back and change the setting to get the same look.. but if thats the best way that i can do i will stick to it
@@akoldrone5874 Once you convert to sRGB you can not convert back to Adobe RGB or ProPhoto or any of the larger color spaces. So only convert to sRGB as the last step, before you upload or email your photo. You can of course send an Adobe RGB photo but the recipient must look at that photo in a program that respects the color profile - otherwise the photo will look really strange. A lot of Microsoft programs still don't respect the color profile but rather assumes the photo is in sRGB.
Umm
Its working but when sharing this image to phone its not working
What is "not working"?
@@irstafoto I edited my photos in ps .when I transfer my photos to phone its colour is almost changed 😓
@@asthetix_creates2095 Unless you have made a color profile for your phone (unlikely) you can’t expect them to look the same. My video just explains how to convert to sRGB which is something all platforms should be able to display correctly, but of course each screen will have different settings for contrast, saturation, brightness etc. That’s why professionals calibrate or create color profiles for their screens.
@@asthetix_creates2095 Same here! Did you find any solution?
@@peyaldhar8811 use mobile to screencast the photoshop! using mobile you can adjust the color.
Every one of these guys always forget to include important information; for instance, when you do this it automatically flattens your image and you lose all your layers. I would suggest saving to another file before doing this.
Thank you!
thank you for the video
Thank you Kjel! :)
Nice Review Kjell, How is Hasselblad H6d -50C compare to X1D?
Девушка очень красивая. Hasselblad X1D больше всего понравился.
Thanks a lot! Simple and clear
My images that I edited in photoshop did not look the same when uploaded onto Shopify. I looked everywhere for a solution...even Shopify could not help! And then I found this video...fixed it straight away! Thank you so much! Love your work!
Yeah but your comparison is primes on mf and zoom lens on canon. That introduces a big compromise on the canon. Stick the 135 2.0L on that canon and a big difference in quality.
Thank you kind sir!!! I think this has been my issue! I appreciate the quick video!
so i get the "convert to profile" and then you convert to profile srgb..but then when you go to export settings or save for web settings do you check the "convert to srgb" again ?
You don't need the "convert to profile" described in this video if you're planning on using "save for web" with the "convert to sRGB" checked.
@@irstafoto ok thanks..so if I convert like you did in this video then i dont have to check the "convert to srgb" on the export settings ..I was trying to export a few photos i edited in adobe rgb ,in photoshop. i tried both methods, the one in your video and the one that you just check the "convert to srgb" on the export settings..but the final image always looks way too saturated compare to the image i edited in photoshop..not sure what i am doing wrong.i tried everything,my screen is calibrated..i dont know what is going wrong:) any advice?
@@JohnAmaro_Official There are many settings in "Save for web" and I only use it when I need to keep an eye on the final output size (in MB). Normally I just use File > Save As, but you can always open up a saved photo and check the colour profile (see 50 secs into the video).

What is sRGB? Explanation would have made this a better video.
standard RED GREEN BLUE
Im glad you showed portraits: when you zoomed in the model's face to check for sharpness and detail, all 3 cameras did a great job at that task... now, imagine if you had used a prime on the canon body? one could easily say that canon and the x1d would be the contenders for today's photographers. They are both compact enough for on the go, however, when it comes to pricing and lens variety, then Canon 5drs is the clear winner. I used to own the 5dsr, and instead of a red-ish cast, it was more green-ish. But I liked that. however on the few times that I did not, I easily removed the color cast on post production. I ended up selling the 5dsr because I mostly work with dancers and needed a faster refresh rate... Im considering the 1dx ii for very specific work. Thank you for comparing these cameras and for your time.

Film size and sensor size matter.
It's a great experience to use Adobe software on Mac. Everything looks awesome!
Nice video! Could you provide the telephone number of Rebecca, please? :))
will this change the way that it looks when converting it or do you have to edit it so it looks similar to the Adobe RGB/correct colors?
Good question! Adobe RGB is a larger color space so if you have very saturated colors, they will be clipped (less saturated). Think of Adobe RGB as having a number with decimals and sRGB as having no decimals. When you go from 3.14 to 3 you will lose information and you can't do much about it. However, if you need to adjust colors before converting, you can do so in Photoshop through proofing mode, but that's a little beyond the scope of this comment :-)
