In my opinion, probably the best pistol TM has made until today. You will enjoy throwing some Guarder steel or aluminium parts on it. Guarder parts fit very good. You´ll just need a little sanding here and there. Not much. Only one advice: You can keep TM internals, but I would highly suggest to buy a steel slide catch and a steel recoil spring guide. 😉
Got to love a TM pistol❤
@@hughobrien1234 this one just works so well. Very impressive.
That's looking sweet G26.The steel slide provide more recoil ,Congratulation bro.
@@WR77TM thanks! Hopefully it’ll be good when it’s done!
Man! I want that! I don't even care that it's not practical...just want it!
It is a lot of fun I must say. Have a review coming soon, just have to finish a couple of other projects first, so keep an eye out for that!
sandhawk
@@bigbuna that is definitely a good looking 2011!
how did you get it with the gas blowback? the silencer and flash comes on the non blowback one lmk
@@derekhe148 so this is the kwa gbb version, not the tm. But I got the tm case, silencer and lam pod to complete the look :)
Have you encountered burst problem in semi when squeezing the trigger slowly? Fast trigger pull on semi is working fine on mine but not when slowly pulling it (that's where the burst occurs which should not happen).
That’s very unusual, no I haven’t had that issue. I think my first thing would be try to give it a good clean and lube with a light oil to see if that solves the issue, otherwise it might be worth removing the burst mechanism to make sure something isn’t worn out (which I would be very surprised if it was)
Can you provide a link to where you got it?
I don’t think I can on here for CZcams’s selling policies which have changed recently, but if you look up the ‘action airsoft’ website, then search fmg, it’ll come up 👍
I have the same pistol, and the same issue!
@@hughobrien1234 yes it seems to be a very common issue! A few others have come forward with the same problems. It’s not a terrible job, and it all comes apart reasonably easily, so can be fixed quite quickly :) It just a shame that such a new release is so badly designed, and they’re not cheap either!
@@Gasblowbackairsoftt I GOT THE PARTS AND DID THE FIX, IT WORKED, THANK YOU!
It's possible to make the trigger ligther than the stock by using sand paper and polishing product.
@@WR77TM polishing the contact surfaces between the hammer and sear contact will definitely make it lighter on single action, however if you’re firing from the decocked position it will still be the same weight as you’re working against the hammer spring.
So the flag on the frame is in the correct orientation. The idea is that the flag is assaulting forward. I have the Savia XC, just ordered the AAxT8 version and I'm going to be selling the other. I've had no issues with it, but proprietary and difficult to upgrade parts are just a no go for me.
@@KOMA6166 thanks for confirming, I was a little unsure! Yes I agree that the AA versions of these are most likely the better bet, my XL definitely runs a lot smoother than this one, and as you mentioned, the proprietary parts are very annoying 👍
@@Gasblowbackairsoftt Not a problem! I actually live just a few hours away from the Staccato factory! I had an older version of the AA C2 with all the trades removed from way before these newer versions came out and loved it. It even had the correct grip length. The C2 is meant to be a G19 type compact pistol. The Savia OEM pistols only give you the full size grip. I ordered one of the new C2s as well and both come in this weekend! I'll let you know how they are and if AA still kept the shorter grip on these newer models
@@KOMA6166 oh wow! Yes that would be amazing, please keep me updated. I’m really hoping someone brings out a cs too, I’ve seen the nova kits and they looked great
@@Gasblowbackairsoftt yeah I've seen one of the kits for the cs on jk army! I'm curious though if they've actually changed the dimensions of the grip as well, to more accurately represent the real counterpart. That would mean a whole new set of magazines though. The real cs and the new updated c model have a smaller grip in both width and from front to back since they made a dedicated 9mm magazine. The magazines from the older models were actually made for the 38 super and 45 ACP cartridges and then adapted to accommodate 9mm.
@@KOMA6166 ah! Good point. I suspect they’ve kept ‘hi capa’ specs, but it would be interesting to see what they’ve done. I’m very tempted by the kit though, it’s just a lot of money for something that will sit on the shelf! Very interested to see the proprietary parts though.
I can't like this gun, i don't know why, its just not sexy like a glock xD
Is this the Tokyo Marui Glock 19 you were modding?
No this is a build I bought of someone else, it’s a Tokyo marui g18c fitted with a prowin aluminium slide :)
@@Gasblowbackairsoftt Looks dayum clean
So you can't get one
@@Q-ey2jk this one is stock Tokyo marui g18c but it has a discontinued prowin slide kit fitted.
`GREAT REVIEW!
Why not just get a VFC, I don't tink the TM is made for a metal slide and requires too many upgrades.
@@hughobrien1234 this is very true, and completely valid if you’re just wanting something out of the box 👍 I would recommend a vfc over a tm every time if the person in question wants a metal slide pistol. I do have a bomber steel slide vfc glock 19x in my collection, along with a steel slide fnx45, however I do find the vfc stuff to be very hit and miss with build quality their glock alloy slides seem to be very weak on certain models (also see my video on the vfc fns9). Also steel slides for vfc models are very expensive when compared to the guarder stuff for Tokyo marui. I also honestly really enjoy the build, plus with tm’s very good gas efficiency they respond very well to these upgrades usually. But mainly, it’s the build I enjoy. taking something, and making it better 😉
Part 2 was just as good as Part 1. I absolutely love the detailed craftsmanship of Airsoft guns. Thank you for your calm and soothing narration, it truly enhances the video.
@@ryzwind2209 thank you, I’m glad you’re enjoying the series so far :)
@@Gasblowbackairsoftt Man trust me you were one of the best youtube recomendations I got lately :D
@@ryzwind2209 that’s very kind, thank you.
In my case I just only change the Airsoft Masterpiece sear and AIP sear spring that can fix the hammer and BBU friction and full auto problems.
@@KeiyaC thanks, that’s good to know, I did suspect you probably could just get away with replacing that unusual sear, but the hammer felt cheap so I thought I’d replace both. Great to hear you got yours fixed for cheaper 👍
This video was great, also that gun looks so good. I have been trying to get into airsoft for the last 5 years and allways find another way to spend my cash xD
@@ryzwind2209 thanks 🙏 It’s definitely an expensive hobby if you do builds like I do
Where to buy it?
@@morriszachrisson8359 it is custom built short barrel. You can buy the base revolver, however it will have a long barrel.
@@Gasblowbackairsoftt I know it is custom built. I am asking about who has made it and how to contact that person.
@@morriszachrisson8359that would be me :) I modified the original front end cutting it down and using a milling vice on my pillar drill, it was a very time consuming process, but worth it. I’ve heard that there is a 3D printed version available on thingyverse. Never tried it though!
@@Gasblowbackairsoftt Thank you for the answer. How did you remove that F-pentagon and the word "Airsoft" or "4,5 mm" from the left side of the frame under the cylinder?
@@morriszachrisson8359 I didn’t, it’s still there for legal reasons, I think it just isn’t shown well on the video 👍
Love the shotgun! Perfect combination of the over-slung stock and Magpul pump! Is it APS?
@@adamhunter5026 thanks! Yes it’s a aps shell ejector :)

I wouldn’t touch the trades, looks great as is. Plastic fantastic FTW!
Awesome work! Looks epic!
Thank you! Cheers!
Can’t wait for more episodes keep up the solid work!
Thank you!
Where to buy??
The base pistol can be bought through most retailers here in the uk under the umarex brand, however I believe it’s sold as the ‘premium’ steel slide version. Non uk, I know you can buy it directly from samoon (ghk)
That is a beautiful piece, thanks for sharing! Just seen it up for sale 😢
Thanks! Yeah I think I’ve just secured a sale on it. Need to shift it to go towards other builds unfortunately!
Gen 2 for the win! 🏆
love the c2 😍
Out of curiosity, where did you purchase this Staccato? I live in the UK also and the only places I can find it are chinese websites so id have to import it. Stellar review though, appreciate all the details
Thanks for the feedback! Glad you liked the review. I actually got this ‘second hand’ however I suspect it’s had almost no use. Airsoft direct uk have them on pre order currently, so that would be a good way to locate one if you don’t want to order from abroad.
@@Gasblowbackairsoftt yeah the only issue with it is they never seem to come back in stock, when I called to ask them, they said it was a preorder not a back order so they couldn’t promise a delivery date. I found a secondhand one in a similar state to yours so have that and a new sear on the way. Cheers for the reply
@@sufyanm4661 ah glad you found one! Yes hammer and sear will fix the issue! Best of luck with the instal!
would you buy this one over the umarex glock 17 gen 5? I cant decide. also I do live in the states which means an orange tip. I do fear taking it off will damage the finish, but I still would like your opinion on the two.
Personally I would, but that’s because I would always intend to upgrade it to a metal slide and barrel which is usually far higher quality than the umarex models come with stock. However if you don’t want to mess with it, then I would ask you if it having a plastic slide would bother you, if yes, then get the umarex, but if not and you want a efficient little sidearm, then 100% go for the TM.
The release valve on the mag took a crap on mine monday.
Oh damn, they really don’t seem very well made I must say, I think I’ll be changing mine for an army armament version at some point I think!
Hey man. Thank you for posting this. I bought mine, and it's like the hammer never latches all the way and follows the slide home to only shoot full auto. Will be trying this fix.
@@LiamStJohn-uh6np no problem at all! Glad this can be of some help! I’ve just been doing some more work on it this evening and it’s still working perfectly. So I definitely recommend that hammer and sear combo. Yes I believe the extra weight or mass of the sear was stopping it from travelling forward and latching the hammer, it’s likely just the sear would fix it, but I was keen to replace the cheap looking hammer!
That's what I. Carry
Dayuum
It is a very nice operating replica, I just hope mine doesn't do the same thing!
I hope so too mate, I absolutely loved mine, it’s a real shame :(
35:58 if you cocked it with the trigger in the resting position and then tried to test the three round burst you should get 3 clicks. The ratcheting mechanism will not cycle fully if you engage three round burst using the firing selector while holding the trigger in a depressed state like that. Realistically the scenario of switching into three round burst with the trigger depressed like that should never happen (why would it be operated like that anyway?). Anywho, fantastic video! Also, looking at the mechanism I have an idea of how the trigger pull could be shortened, but as a result the trigger's resting position will be shifted backwards a bit. Material can be added to the opposite end of the trigger piece, as in the face of the trigger that contacts the firing selector piece. About a millimeter or so; adding too much material will interfere with the safety function of the fire selector. The trigger will jam on the selector pin, preventing safety from being engaged entirely. The amount of removable "slack" can be demonstrated by engaging the safety and actuating the trigger - it's actually quite a significant length of the pull. Additionally, if we remove the grip, that spring loaded plunger behind the trigger should be able to be adjusted backwards into the pistol grip and away from the trigger. As in the case of the real steal 553, it is possible to adjust the plunger to first contact the trigger just before or at the "wall" to achieve a crispy and true two-stage trigger pull feel.
Yes I suspected I was doing something wrong, and until that point I hadn’t had a lot of time messing with it, but yes how you explained it makes total sense! Good shout, I think that would work, next time I’ve got it apart I’ll have a good look and see if it’s a possibility, nice explanation, I’ve got a pretty clear idea of what you mean! Thanks for the feedback, glad you liked the video!
If that’s the double bell mk12, bro it’s the best, no need to upgrade, it’s been a personal favourite.
This is actually a golden eagle gbbr wearing a mk12 front end with a few ghk parts for good measure :)
@@Gasblowbackairsofttdamn, well the mod 0 hand guard is definitely a good choice.
@@louissinon6868 yes it’s by no mean lightweight, but it’s definitely a good looking rifle!
@@GasblowbackairsofttYh my double bell has a steel handguard shit is heavy, but weirdly comfortable to use.
A steel handguard? Wow, the one on this one is aluminium, and it’s heavy enough! I’d hate to carry around one with a steel handguard! 😂
How much thank you
They’re no longer available with the steel slide unfortunately, the vfc is currently available with the alloy slide however.
I like the colour and camo grip. Thinking of getting one.
If you’re a 1911 fan, you won’t be disappointed. It runs great!
Have ordered one. Will be my first TM gun. Wish it was in metal. 😅

Great to have you along! Thanks for the feedback, this is the mk1 mcmr. So its technically v2/2.5
