I have Xfinity, I live in the Chicagoland area, I pay for the 1000mbps plan, however both my xbox and ps4 pro (both wired directly to the Xfinity modem) only test at around 60mbps download and 10 mbps upload... what gives? My phone when I test the WiFi gives me around same speeds according to SpeedTest.com

Great question!!! I have the same problem!!!!
You really don't need high upload speed to do anything, gaming including. 5 mb/s is more than enough. If you really want faster upload speed, switch to fiber as cable connections usually aren't designed for high upload speed, as download speed is much more important for general internet usage.

I have Cox Gigablast Fiber, and for some reason, on my PS4 Slim, with an Ethernet Plugged In, I get either around 330/MB Download, and around 75/MB Upload, or like 60/MB Download, and around 75/MB Upload. Does anybody know why it fluctuates so much and I don’t get anywhere near the full 1,000 Download & Upload that Gigablast Fiber gives me??

You need to post if this is 2.4 or 5 ghz WiFi, there is a huge difference in speed and bandwidth. Also need to prove your ps4 pro was the ONLY device using your WiFi. You did a fail job at this.

If you place the router in the microwave it blocks interference and improves your speed ALOT!

Are the speed test on a ps4 accurate?
Accurate for the ps4. Not accurate for real world speedtest. The ps4 speeds run through playstation network which slows your speeds down drastically
@@Shortley that sucks I pay for 1gig my ps4 is wired but only push out about 200mbs while my other devices on wireless can get about 400 and 700plus on wired.
