I just got this deck, first the pinch rollers all needed replacing as they had completely failed but unfortunately I get no audio at all. I have a feeling something has failed on deck 2 where I think audio for both decks goes through.

Good to have an easy fix in a pinch! 😉 Me, not so fortunate as for me the belts are shot. Deck 1 worse than 2 and larger 90min. cassettes even worse. Get about 20 seconds of fine operation if it's been unused for a few days, but then it progressively slows down like I've got Darth Vaders hits playing. How do I find out what belts to buy? Mine's the 575.

I used to have one of these. It uses infrared to transfer pics to a PC. Originally it came with an IR dongle, which connected to a PCs serial port. Or it could you the IR that was built into some laptops.

Camera is a handy thing on a watch for a quick picture. This feature could be added to the new range & vibrate alarm, ECT. 😮Any updates on picture quality or printed pictures? 😮Other function on the watch? Ta much buddy

Love watching this stuff. I put together from other spare parts of Denon DN-770 Dual Cassette Deck which was ready for the scrap bin. I pull it down replaced all the parts needed and now it works like a charm.

How did you so quickly isolate the problem as being the pinch rollers as opposed to other problems like bad belts?

Hi, just an update on this unit. After purchasing it, it has now had a full service and strip down. It’s now running like new. I’m glad you were able to save this piece of musical history from being destroyed.

hi there was deck made for the schools they had reel too reel decks in the A/V lock up i would say it's playing at 3 3/4 ips the decks they had at school were this speed they used to p,lug it in to a PA amp and play recording to all the rooms at the same time note i was very young man i ask why they had all the old decks so they told me how it worked in the 60's all home decks had more speeds so what i was told by the school would be in the right ball park 7 1/2 was for music 3/4 ips was talk why it's running slow
