Wise Watch true GMT Part 2
In this part 2 I have set the GMT hand to tell the time in Toronto and the third time zone Melbourne . This option seems to work well. I assume for other time zones and pending where people are it should work OK.

The relative rate of movement between the two hands is 360 deg per 24 hours, and therefore, this "eclipse" of the GMT hand occurs just once per 24 hours. Not ideal, but not a serious flaw for me. I just pre-ordered the upcoming ADX101YG with the gold-capped bezel and crown. This model will also allow the GMT hand to be hidden behind the hour hand.
Will be hidden twice a day. GMT hand rotates once a day. Hour hand twice a day. Therefore, it will cover it twice a day. With that said. All hands should be visible at all times. Besides that. How are you liking the watch? I’ve had my eye on them.
is it adx120 model? Because bezel looks like from adx110

The numbers on the inner ring are small. Not a deal breaker, I would enjoy it more if the numbers were bigger.

Got this 38mm and i like it very much! Great for someone enjoying the old days proper watch look plus added features. Tbh i swapped my ageing Apple Watch 3 for Scan watch and i dont regret. The fitness functions are good and the App is one of the best. Good review btw!
CAUTION! Scanwatch does not work properly for me and many users. Forum is full of upset users. Withings Support doesn't answer. Don’t buy this watch!!
sorry to hear its not working for you. I am aware its not the ultimate perfect watch . Even the much more expensive apple watch. I am not getting paid to say this but so far works for me for my expectations. share with us what problems you having. Has for support it is a shame if withings is not addressing these issues 😒
Roberto Lira Hi Roberto, thanks for answering. Various Scanwatch problems are discussed in Withings forums. My problem is, HealthMate App has no ECG and no SP02 display at all. I have installed and uninstalled HealtMate app several times. Resetting Scanwatch doesn’t produce any results either. Withings support does not exist. (HealtMate 1471, iPhone 8 OS13.7) I am familiar with Smartwatches.
@@snoopysnoop4013 that is a pain, specially when you know your way around smart watches. The software version I am using is 5.1.0 and it showaECG and Sp02. when I first setup I was missing Sp02 and realised that I had no activated when I first setup. So I reset to factory and started from fresh and activated all options and now works perfect. No good not having response for support. Hope you can find some answers on forums. Good Luck

Leonardo Rodrigues I am looking into this I suspect China. When I have more info will post it. I will post another video in a weeks time . I am interested to see how long battery will last .

It's (like it's predecessors) such a beautiful watch. Shame the connected & sport functionalities still lack behind the competition (Garmin, Polar, Fitbit) by a BIG margin. The design & material quality are best with Withings, but sadly not the rest.
jerome96114 hi Jerome that maybe the case . Certainly they have the quality and hoping soon they can improve software and functions. At least I did not feel I purchased junk .Of course no point of great hardware if it fails in the functionality dept.

Leonardo Rodrigues Leonardo boa noite I think Jerome is trying to say withings are lacking behind so features and accuracy geared to sports people . Garmin Polar Fitbit appears to be ahead .
Yes, I agree this watch is beautiful but the rest of it has problems. I've had it for a week and from my observations it doesn't track your heart rate correctly, has horrible sleep tracking, undercounting of steps and pitiful battery life which didn't even come close to the claimed 30 days. I wanted to love it but it went back because all the metrics were unfortunately unreliable.
@@SonicVirtualizer Hi there still doing more test. Yes Battery life is not as advertised if you want to use all functions as one would expect to us. I am beginning to hate Manufactures who claims high battery capacity usage but only if you use 10% of product capacity. What is the point having these wonderful features if one cannot use it. I think any devise that goes on a wrist, will not be 100% accurate.
It would be great if you could do an "update" of your watch collection. What you like about each watch etc;) greetings from across the pond;)

could you please share a long term perspective of how prone to scratches the Ti500s satin finish is?
I asked two non-watch people to compare my Steinhart Ocean GMT to a Tudor Black Bay ... neither selected the Tudor as the better watch.

Thanks Roberto. Based on your and TGV's reviews, I just ordered one from Steinhart directly. It's a "pre-order" so I am not sure when I will get it. At the current exchange rate that they used, came out to $600 USD exactly, with shipping. I believe it will be a watch that I really enjoy and has great quality and features for the money.

It arrived yesterday. Not disappointed at all. Already experimenting with rubber and NATOs since it is still hot where I live. And it seems the titanium bracelet will be easy to scratch. I like the grey tone though, different. Thanks again for the review that led me to the watch. BTW, $601 USD delivered, ordered straight from Steinhart. Great value, I think.

Ha, maybe one day. Have only been "collecting" for a few months. In automatics, I only have the Steinhart and a Hamilton. But I have caught the bug and will be adding watches - progressively more expensive most likely!

Can you tell me if music instrument tuner apps from the google app store will work on the BB Passport? I could have bought a new passport cheap for around 180 Euro like new, but I ordered a complete new BB Priv more than three times the price, and to be honest, I am not sure weither that was the right decision.
Hi Roberto, what did you end up doing? I have a Passport and I agree, it is **FAST**. The Priv is nice for obvious reasons is better but it is also much bigger (taller) and it is not BBOS. (I still think a BB without BB software is not a true BlackBerry). I'm trying to decide between the Priv and Samsung Galaxy S7 (for an Android device) and I've noticed the Priv is significantly slower than the Samsung.
I have both the PRIV and S7 Edge. For performance such as speed go with S7 Edge. For productivity go with the PRIV. I find that the PRIV is the best of both worlds. It has all the android apps you need, as well as the productivity you need on a daily basis, for example state of the art Calendar including "Join Now" if you have conference calls with a passcode. You also have the HUB which is a little different than the BB10 OS version. All in all, it just depends on what's's most important to you. I hope that helps.
I wear an Omega Speedmaster Pro, like yours, but I also wear an Apple Watch in bed as I can see the time easily at night and the alarm wakes me up gently on weekdays. I'm running watch OS3 Beta on mine and I love it!
Hi Ian, I am glad that I have a companion , Oh by the way I am also running the OS3 Beta and works fine with no problems. Nomad Strap is luxurious and complements the watch well.
Congratulations Mr. Roberto!! I own STEINHART Ocean One GMT too. Very reliable true GMT watch on earth. The best thing is SWISS MADE ETA 2893-2 Automatic movement loaded and very smooth second hand. 28800 Vibration per hour. 8 Times vibration per second. Very smooth sweeping second hand and same as ROLEX GMT Master II's vibration .. The GMT bezel should turn Bi-Directional.

Hello still have my amazing Passport SE with google Play store installed but picked up a PRIV as android apps run better on the PRIV. Actually surprised the PRIV with latest updates and Marshmallow running real smooth.
I think passport is a great choice
Love my Passport Silver Edition. Very few of us understand how good BBOS is! The Passport is an amazing productivity tool, it outshines the iPhone and other devices. Granted if you want a good camera or games etc. go with something else, but the keyboard is second to none and the specs on the Passport are in line with other high end devices. Love love love my Silver Edition!

Tempus Fugit This post is for EVERYONE Thinking about this watch: I bought mine & (I live in the Southeastern part [Sav'h, GA] of the U.S. ~ FYI) it was delivered on the July 10th - Yes, THIS Month! - I checked it for 1-Day using an Atomic Clock app on my iPhone & it seemed a tad speedy 90-seconds + ...so, I thought, OK..maybe it needs a 'Break-in period (!/?) although there's both pro's & con's to that..!!! Well, on last Friday [Five (YES, 5!) Days later] July 14th I looked around 10:30 PM-ish & noticed my BEAUTIFUL, NEW Steinhart OTP500 (I REALLY LOVE HOW this 'timepiece' Looks, Wears,..EVERYTHING ~ this watch 'SCREAMS TO ME "YOU MUST GET & KEEP ME 4EVER!") had STOPPED 😳 working - the second hand wasn't moving {& YES! Of Course I KNOW HOW to wind/keep & MOVE to keep Automatic Watches wound ~ I have an Omega Seamaster 300m, Debaufre Ocean 1...}.., so I peeped through the exhibition back & saw the 12-O'clock Brass Wheel wasn't moving AT ALL..BAD!😠 So, I swiveled my watch-wrist movement to wind & immediately the second hand started moving ~ Ah, Voila!!😎 ...but w/i 20-seconds, it STOPPED..AGAIN!😩...!!! At this point, I KNEW MY 5-Day Old [YOUNG?] Beautiful Automatic Titanium watch was...DEAD! I waited through that night, in the hopes that it would 'MIRACULOUSLY' REANIMATE......😒..not. DAMN. SOOO.., I FedEx-ed it, box, papers, wrapping & all from Savannah, GA TO Steinharts Watches GmbH, Boschstr.6, 86391 Stadtbergen, Germany (1.5-lbs.)...for the low cost of $203.18 U.S. Dollars.😬 WOW! I'd lost my $588-ish U.S.Dollars "BEAUTIFUL TITANIUM WATCH" BACK HOME For 1/3 it's TOTAL COST. DAMN. 🤡~ YES.., THAT'S EXACTLY HOW I FELT. Right Now, I'm tracking the FedEx flight over the Northern Atlantic Ocean [it departed at 4:24 PM from Memphis, TN (FedEx's Main Hub)..!!]..headed direct to Germany - Munich.., I believe.. Now, I think when Steinhart gets MY Watch & 'looks under the hood,' it'll be professional & quickly solve said problem ASAP. I HOPE!😶 Whatever path this nightmare takes, I'll be more than happy to update this posting. Finally, Roberto & Co., I will say that I've NEVER HEARD of a True "Swiss Made" watch (w/ the Great [??, Right??] ETA 2892-A2 mvmt) FAILING WITHIN 5-DAYS..!!!***
what you didn't like in bb priv?
+Ahmed Saeed what i did not like about the priv I found slow and not high spec. But I have loaded the BB services and BB Hub on a Samsung S7 Edge and it is fast had no problems and I like using the BB HUB, not sure of course about if one gets the same security . I will be doing a video soon.
+Roberto Lira I was about to purchase the bb passport but when I heard about WhatsApp and Facebook are going to stop supporting bb10. dunno what to do? what do you think?
+Ahmed Saeed Dear Ahmed, about 2 weeks ago I had the opportunity to get a S7 EDGE DUAL SIM, which come quite handy to use with my own sim and second sim when I am travelling. I though it will never replace my much loved Passport. But 4 days into using it and seeing how fast it is the camera is fantastic very light and also battery last me all day wireless charging I start to find difficult to go back to BB. Now that I can also use BB HUB on the S7 is a bonus. Also I am pissed with BB that once again they are pissing on the faithful owners by not really support BB10 and other apps like whatsapp etc not to support BB and soon you will see it will die .

Love the Passport and use both the phones. But nothing beats the hub, Native apps, awesome battery and stereo-speakers. Need to charge my priv 3 times every day and my passport every night. If you need snapchat go for the priv if not go for Passport SE..
+Mario Ljöner Yes I agree. But let me into a little secret, my partner has allowed me to have her galaxy s7 edge. I have loaded the blackberry services - HUB - contacts & calender. And I end up with a PRIV running 10 times the speed with all day battery - the best picture phone, wireless charging - very light.So far its working 100% if this continues I confess that I may be putting my Passport on ebay. Also not happy to learn that BB10 may not have the updates that it deserves.

Yes I am really upset about this. But will never change for the priv.Probaley will get a S7 edge dual sim. my friend in UK has one and it's a great phone.

Hi, After many years working with iPhone and macbook synchronously specially for m business , I'm gaining to move from iOS to BlackBerry. There are many movies here to present pros and cons of both device (Priv and Passport) but I have not decided yet. The most advantages of Android and iOS is Applications. In my business, I need some social network apps like Telegram, Viber and IMO (for free call). Also being synchronized with my MAC is very very important (calendar, note, contact and ...) As I found other Apps which I need for my business , are available in BB. no need to install new. Any comments in this regards would be highly appreciated.
