How Long to Charge? Everyone Wants to know

I'm constantly asked this question but that's ok because I'm a bit of a watch nut LOL and don't mind. But really the answer comes directly from Citizen NOT me. I understand though that many may buy a watch and get NO manual or have just never read their own manuals, so with the back drop of me snorkelling in the Pacific ocean, I will leave you these facts (according to the manufacturer LOL).
7 Minutes of Fried Catfish LOL

Seriously, catfish can look pretty darn ugly, fight like hell, covered in thick slimy mucous (when they are landed), poisonous barbed spines, dorsal and pectoral, BUT boy they taste very very good. Firm flaky flesh. Here we deep fry up a catch in chilli oil. Very very tasty, and no, it's a myth about them being muddy or of strange taste but they are a real pain to clean and gut, although I thin...
Zentron Outdoor Zen Q635 Thermal Imaging Rifle Scope Optic Specifications

Hot off the press. As you know, I was at IWA 2024 in Germany and I visited the guys at Zentron Outdoors. I was very impressed with their thermal imaging rifle scopes. Now without further adieu here is our first "unboxing" of what I consider some very very cool gear (the ZentronOutdoor Zen Q635 Thermal imager). If night time/low light hunting is your thing then check this out, the specs are grea...
The Blade

When is a thick blade useful? PUMA once advocated the virtues of a thick blade in their iconic White Hunter. Could it be that they really did have something legit all those years back to 1974 and a bit before? At least this is what the pamphlet read in my PUMA box in 1974 when i first received a Puma Hunters Friend, in an advertisement for the Trapper and the White Hunter etc. Strong as an axe,...

Eco Drive Charging How Can I Tell if my Eco Drive is Fully Charged?

Knife Ergonomics Some simple things which really count!

Maybe a knife is made from some sh%t hot alloy and stays sharp forever but if it isn't comfortable to use in many different ways then this isn't good IMHO. Let's take a closer look at some subtle design features of the new Extrema Ratio Tuscan as an example (but not limited to) of great ergonomics.

Torn between this and the prather war bowie
Cool video man, thanks for making it. I definitely have to get one eventually. I have 2 muelas and I love them
god i miss oz
That knife vs Terava skrama who will win?????
Have you tried using a Fiskars XA23 WoodXpert Brush Hook 900mm for clearing thorny problems like this? Bigger swings and longer reach - keeps your body away from those thorns and ants. Bunnings has them, as does Rock Around the Block.
But this one goes to 11 lol
Some piece of kit that. Not allowed for dear hunting in Scotland, apparently
Nasty little ants spoilt your fun
Kind of a wicked cool plant man!
Very nice machete looks like the Australian army machete Saludos Amigo
Carrying both a big knife & a small knife is usually the way I tend to go. I don't like the feeling of having just 1 cutting tool with me anyway. Been there, lost my knife somehow, was kinda screwed & barely got my butt out of there. Luckily where I grew up flint is super common so I managed but that's just my 2 cents.
Your "two cents" is very welcome! Thanks for watching and commenting.
Hi. I found a stone that looks like somebody used it a long time ago. It's really round and one side is grinded down. Tried it on a dull knife and it worked🇫🇮
You got it then, probably last forever. Thanks for watching!
I Found one that looks to have been used before. It's round but one end is perfectly flat. Tried to sharpen a knife whit it and it worked
Have you tried paprika flour and hake? czcams.com/video/2J2vMBZOgZE/video.html
Thanks man, would you be able to make a video about how to adjust this bows draw weight, how to reach maximum draw weight and minimum draw weight and what else to know.
Sure I can make some videos about this
@@BushCampingTools Thanks!
Did you have a rifle rest
I need one of these. I think I’m gonna order one soon; I wish they had the S35VN in plain G10 scales.
I just got this knife with a satin finish. It seems to be an amazing knife.
Hi how did u reset it cheers
Looks good. I must admit being a little disappointed not to see an invitation. LOL. I usually restrain my peanut oil through cheese cloth and reuse it. High heat and quick cooking times, I agree that is the way to cook fish. But I'm from down south, so we fry everything. I like this video.
I have the black version and have a list of downsides. I bought it to retire my GW-A1100 but I end up wearing it instead on many days still. Biggest complaint is just that, it's so big and heavy. The function is just silly. With four buttons, it still relies on the dial to set the timer and alarms. All of the functions of the Mudmaster and yet it only has a 60-minute timer. A $70 G shock can go up to 24 hours of timer. To set the alarm is dumb. If you want to set an alarm for 4 p.m. (1600), you need to spin the dial from midnight all the way to 4. It takes so long, it's almost funny. And specifically to the black version, only the H/M/S hands have lume on it which is useless. Sure it has a light, but if I want to discreetly check it (like in a movie theater, for example), I only have three hands and nothing else to tell the time.
Loved this movie 1970 I was 8 got it on dvd💕
It's a super movie! Thanks for watching and commenting. I have some other similar movie breakdowns as well on the channel.
WHY DO YOU INSIST ON CALLING THIS ZULU STRAP A ' NATO STRAP' ??
I have one of these. Awesome knife! As You said just keep a little cooking oil on the blade and your Good To Go! Mine came with a leather sheath so don't store it for long periods of time in the sheath so as not to rust! Great Knife though that will last a life time! Sorry I forgot your name again.😖LOL! Anyway Great Video As Usual. Learning Alot! Keep Em Coming. Thanks! Kenneth Smith.
Hi Kenneth, It's Francis! and yes, you are def right. This is def a knife that will last a lifetime. Many thanks for watching!
@@BushCampingTools Hi Francis. Thanks for the reminder. I'll try not to forget your name again. LOL! Keep up the great videos.
@@fordranger8211 No problems Kenneth.
Nice knife the sheath is brown color?
Hi, yes.
Good Protein
Perfect pan for that purpose. What kind of oil do you use please?
That was 100% peanut oil, it can take the high temperature without breaking down.
@@BushCampingTools Thank you very much. I will try it. 👍👍
Wrong chanel should be on Dirty Kitchen with that smoking hot pan😂 Very brave doing that bare foot, in shorts and t shirt😂
How did you reset it?
In which country did you record this video?
Hi that was Europe but other footage was recorded in Australia.
Taiwan..wtf..
Well like many great names out there but I have to say it is made to a standard and it is sitting not 10m away from me now ready for diving and hasn't leaked or failed me since this video. I use it all the time to dive with.
The hollow handle knife should be viewed precisely as British SAS viewed the original small tin kit that ultimately “evolved” into the ubiquitous Altoids kit. As a backup to a backup. One must ask oneself “in what set of circumstances would I find myself in the bush with this tool?” In WW2 many of the 82nd and particularly 101st Airborne jumping over Normandy lost everything in prop wash/ wind shear but their knives. Their rifles, packs and in rarer cases even web gear flew off over cow pastures alight by German MG42 tracers. In such an unenviable situation having a working button compass encased in an aluminum pommel, a needle and thread with a few uniform buttons, perhaps an extra boot lace and/or morphine syrette, maybe some tweezers or a few proper strike anywhere matches (before methamphetamine mania made red phosphorus impossible to get cheaply). Or maybe a piece of surgical tubing long enough and strong enough to fashion a field tourniquet; these could offer tremendous benefit, albeit temporarily, in very specific circumstances. Comparing these suggestions to the later developed USAF parachute survival kit one understands how tremendously game changing some of the aforementioned tiny tools can be in austere environments or unplanned wilderness bivouacs. Conversely why would anyone take a zero tang belt knife on a family camping trip and then attempt to use it as a hatchet? The hollow handle survival knife, pre-“First Blood” was a derivative of the Air Force survival knife. The rat tail tang of the former was sacrificed for a handle cavity in the latter. The original USAF knife was designed as an air crash egress tool as much as it was built to be a camp knife. Lastly there are journal entries from the American Civil War wherein soldiers wrote home specifically asking for needles, thread and basic hand stitching notions. That’s how important the ever humble needle was to maintaining battle ready kit. The other typical hollow handle survival tools are fairly self evident. If anyone read this, thank you and happy hunting.
Nice video! Thanks
My pleasure! Thanks for watching!
So how is the G10? handle? Is it as good as the forprene in absorbing shocks? Is it grippy?
It's more grippy but not at as good as the Forprene as absorbing shocks.
@@BushCampingTools Thanks. I thought so. Maybe ER could introduce some liners made of forprene like the Tops have some rubber underneath the micarta handles. Still it looks like a great knife.
How much?
No phone?
Nope a phone but either no signal in a deep gorge, or you've dropped it in the drink LOL, or it's damaged, easily done in such an environment.
I have never seen a rifle scope like that. Where is the windage and elevation adjustment? Mounting on a rifle scope is critical too, or else there will be movement which will affect bullet placement. Is this actually meant for a rifle? 300 Winchester mag, .308 caliber? Will you show it on a rifle being shot in the next video? I remember the Starlight scopes but never used them. I am most intrigued.
These are great questions and this scope needs none of those typical devices/mechanicals (ie no turrets to twist etc etc.) to sight in. In fact zeroing in is like so ridiculously simple. But more to come on this (because I don't want to be a spoiler for the next videos) and yes it is a proper rifle scope, we had it on a .243 last night, fits just fine via a wider picatinny to the dove tail of the rifle. Stay tuned because the video is coming out about all your questions we have been filming constantly (well each evening to make a great video about this thermal scope). But just quickly the reticle of choice is easily "moved' for zeroing. As for calibers, we will be showing this too. Stick around! Many thanks for your comments as usual.
@@BushCampingTools Excitement builds. Looking forward to it.
Looks excellent
man it is, had the baby out last night, stick around for upcoming videos on it.
Looks like a very high quality product brother how long do the batteries last?
Up to 3 hours maybe a bit longer if you are not constantly using the blue tooth. For any firmware upgrades or simply taking images off the internal memory, u can use the USB C cable then the are no unnecessary battery draining things going on. The bigger the amperage of those CR123 A batteries the better but 3 hours of constantly being on is pretty good i reckon. Plus u can if u did run out you can tether it to a USB PwR bank for like ever LOL. Will be taking it out hunting this coming week again and see what happens but I'm pretty chuffed with the quality of the images and how easy it is to use.
@@BushCampingTools thanks a lot for the info brother, as I said looks like good quality gear. I have a thermal from pulsar and it's very handy outdoors and when hunting.ill be looking forward to the next video have a good Sunday 👍
Looks pretty good!
Puma knives, that is a blast from the past for sure. Nice review of the Tuscan.
Thanks, yeah they are still around of course but I think now no longer what they used to be like. Similar or same models but mostly made from cheaper steels- ok probably ok but the prices reflect more expensive steels and not all now are made in Germany of course for a long time.
My next Love ❤😅
This military/survival knife will be great for charcuterie when me an my unit are on maneuvers.
Thanks for watching!
Go out for 10min plinking and you need an ambulance Even with a compressor, PCP guns are a dealbreaker, simply not convenient Its like having a car that needs refueling every 3miles 😂😂😂😂
LOL, or get bigger instead of using the gym LOL
Thanks grandpa
Granda??? Mate, still 2 nights per week in the dojo, not ready for "Grandpa" label yet LOL!
Interesting pommel. Is it hollow? Does it unscrew? Looks like a military knife, but I cannot place it. Holes in the guard too. The handle says Extrema Ratio.
They made this as a sort of tribute knife to the old Gerber BMF. That Gerber u may remember (if you know it) has a sort of spongy like grip made of Hypalon -that indestructible stuff they still make inflatable boats from and my good old CB radio power mic cable out of which is yonks old but still no signs of perishing LOL! Ye it is and ER knife, no the pommel is sort of hollow if you count that it has a screw through it securing it to the tang. It's a pretty thick tang and i dod make a video about this some years ago with a total strip of tis knife, maybe I'll do it again. It can really take a beating and I've had it in the jungle many times
@@BushCampingTools Thanks much for the info. Not familiar with the Gerber BMF.
@@willieboy3011 Yeah, it's some classic now. I saw a new one for sale way back in 2000, was working in Tokyo and it was in the shops main showcase, it cost a small fortune back then as i think it had already become a collector's item LOL. and NO, I had no intention of buying it then.
Can they be weaponized?
