You can fish several styles. From shore jigging to spinning and from light to heavy. I would opt for a rod around 10ft and a casting weight that suits you. Then get some lures accordingly and you should be fine. Generally spinning for cuda with minnows is a pretty safe bet.

Petri dank! Kommt auf deine Rute, das weitere Set Up und die Umstände an. Im Mittelmeer bist du mit 3000-6000 gut bedient, im Atlantik auf Bulls könnte man sicherlich auch legitim eine 8000er verwenden!

Petri kannst du ein Köder für Mahi Mahi empfehlen
Als Jigs mag ich Owner Cultiva Gekito Strike, damit habe ich vergangenes Jahr auf Mallorca gut gefangen. Ansonsten Top Water wie Maria Rapido oder Popper wie Popqueen. Wirklich empfehlen würde ich dir aber die Lures von Bastardmakrele, also Bastardjigs. Eigentümer ist Andreas, ein Mahi Spezi, der kann dir da mit Sicherheit eine sehr kompetente Auskunft geben. @Bastardmakrele9229

Fall is usually much better than spring, you will have the chance to catch Mahi Mahi during this period. The videos were filmed in late September-early October.

I have a New Hunter 270 15-50 gram rod with two sections for spinning and jigging from the shore. Will it work well?

Thank you! In this video I use a Daiwa Certate LT 5000. It works fine but I swapped it now for a Certate SW 6000. Works perfectly with the sonio.

Sure thing! It is a Shimano Dialuna ML MB 5 Piece with a CW of 6-28g, braid is PE1.2 and the reel is a Twin Power XD 3000C.

Ist auf jeden Fall eine tolle Rute, mir gefällt die 10ft. Variante aber besser bzw. Passt sie besser zu meiner Angelei und Körperlänge. Von der Power steht die kürzere Rute aber in nichts nach!

Have never been there but usually the ports are good starting points. Use some small jigs and minnows and look for other fishermen. Lastly it is always helpful to visit a local tackle shop, buy something the locals use and get some intel on spots. Should be fine!

Depends on the spot you fish, but Black Minnows and Shore Jigs should be a safe bet!

It is a Dialuna ML MB, length is about 2,7m paired with a Twin Power XD 3000 XG

Geil er Drill und Fisch. Respekt. 👌 Fähre diesem Sommer auch nach Kroatien und will natürlich das shore jigging ausprobieren. Kannst du mir vielleicht verraten, wo du das lange Gaff her hast?
Vielen Dank! Das Gaff ist selbst zusammengestellt, es ist ein daiwa power handle und ein Gaff Haken zum einschrauben. Das ganze habe ich auf Madeira in nem lokalen Laden gekauft. Länge ist 4m! Mittlerweile bin ich aber auf den power shaft von Golden mean in 5m umgestiegen. Der wirkt noch etwas stabiler und besser im handling! Viel Erfolg schon mal für den Sommer.

@@kammschupper Sommer ist jetzt nicht die beste Zeit, aber Chancen bestehen natürlich immer. In diesem Video fische ich 0,52mm fluo glaube ich.
