The Tenement House Glasgow - Time capsule into tenement life
zhlédnutí 1,1KPřed rokem
The tenement house is a preserved example of a middle-class tenement flat in Glasgow, Scotland. It was occupied by Agnes Toward from 1911 until her death in 1965. She did not change her way of life; her home remains a time capsule of a bygone day. With letters, postcards and recipes she had typed up it is a fascinating place to visit. The Tenement House is managed by the National Trust for Scot...

Very often you will find the remains of an aircraft monit...

Photogrammetry - Possible Grave
zhlédnutí 941Před rokem
Photogrammetry allows us to create 3D models from still images. In this case, we took the opportunity to "scan" a possible grave site that is usually lost below the water of a Scottish Loch. It had become accessible due to low water levels. We now have a 3D model of the location that can be used to further examine the location. The entire site is now lost below the waters of the loch. The follo...

Great video It brings back many memories of visiting the castle (Cannon Hill is the name we knew it as) Thanks again
Love the relaxing music and the vibe
Thanks for the link!
My dad used to visit these up and down the country. He admired the work they all did. He was glad they never ever came into use
Fantastic! Very eerie with the music & great scope of everything with the drone.
Legends
Most of these are full of ( 💩 SHITE ! ! ) and unpleasant debris ........................ DAVE™🛑
Such a shame to see so much history lost to time from fire great shorter explore keep them coming
Great video!
Thanks for the visit :-)
I was surprised to see such a beautiful building from the drone shots after you showed all the destruction inside. I'm glad you captured it before the fire.
You and me both! :-(
Well done Mr. Bexy...You mastered the sound/scene sync. (Yes, I noticed) Great job and perfect music mood for this video. Too bad that it's all but destroyed now.
This is AWESOME! I was mesmerized until the bee took off!
Now this is Awesome.
Good video
Long time no hear, J&E Adventures notification of a live reminded me of the notification of this one. That and it looks like the boys are long gone from there! Well assembled! 👍🤠 🇺🇸
oh yeah 👊🏽
tfs . . have a wonderful weekend ahead take care my friend ♥️🙋♀️
Surprised no one has bought it to fix up. Great video ☕️❤️🇨🇦
That was freaking awesome 😎 I loved the drone shots.
First 👍😎
Congrats lol 🙂
Great, if a bit creepy, exploring! I wonder what's going on. Maybe family inherited it and sold up land for tree planting that is now so prevalent. Nice video! Thanks for the sub btw! Much appreciated. Atb, Terry
Thanks for this! That's one I have never actually visited. One for my list!
We stopped by the ROC post yesterday but having revisited your video its not as large as I was suggesting to the folk I was with , I assumed the ROC post was similar in size to the old Radar station up behind Inverkip which is pretty huge inside with staircases leading down to a lower level with offices and large central area ...thanks for sharing.👍
I do love a hood castle! Nice to see it being looked after. Hope you're keeping well 👍 😊
There is a lot of those, if I was crazy rich I would try to make something useful with it ❤👍
Nice video, some people can see ruins, others can see potential 😅❤️👍
Awesome castle it is hard to imagine the work to make these castles. Over from NPP new friend

Like 38 👍 Hello from Naples, Florida. What a nest place to visit! So much to see there. Thanks so much for the tour, have a great weekend 💯
My father, grandmother, aunt and uncle are buried here. My father overlooking the Clyde. It really is a lovely cemetery. My Gran live in Gogo house on the Gogo Burn for over 70 years and my Dad was born in that house. It is still there but doesn't have the house name on it anymore.
Mantap banget ❤❤❤❤
I see you're into Nikon and Manfrotto too. The best
Yea, I like my Nikon :-)
Awesome gear there
Thanks DRobb55 :-)
Have you looked at Ardhallow House between Dunoon and Innellan?
Good video brings back memories of when I worked there on the construction of a new water shafts and water supply main contractor was Tyson great Britain a sister company of the German company this about fifty two years ago I was twenty seven years old good money for our labor great company to work for only downside there was diving contractor lost his life when checking the new shafts and tunnels I unfortunately cannot remember the poor man's name as I will be eighty years old next year
Very interesting that you worked on the 70s expansion of the water works. Tragic to hear that someone lost his life in the process. We always look for progress, but sometimes people pay the ultimate cost. I can only imagine it must have been a huge undertaking building the new tunnels?
Awesome trailer
Thank you :-)
Hi Urbexy I am not familiar with the UK castles/ruins, but love architecture and its history. Wow, Crookston Castle, you have power to control the mood and enhance it with your selection of music. You nailed it! Walking tour at the property must be thrilled. I can feel it as seeing your compositions. It is maintained very well and is still standing proudly through history. Thank you so much for making my day. Nice to meet you at cara If you are interested, come and see me at kayak7seas Appreciate your comment for my future projects.
For the curious, the cave has been repaired by locals many times since this video and it still serves its purpose it had many years ago.
Its certainly had some items added from time to time. Back n the 30s it had a full front wall with windows and the entire thing was well painted and looked after. Would be epic to see it fully restored.
Excellent viewing mate, great insight into the history behind it...really enjoyed that. WOW...the water level in the video was insanely low...never seen it as low as that. Cheers for sharing 🤟
It was great to get the chance to see the water levels so low and explore the loch bed. So much history in such a small area. :-)
@@Urbexy definitely mate🤟
I really enjoyed that, haven't been there for a good few years.... you obviously passed the brickworks, then to where the Rivers meet ?
At the time, when I visited I really don't know much about the area, it was when I got home I did some research. Fascinating place with lots of history.
Love seeing these old castle.
It's not in the grounds of Wemyss Castle. This is in the grounds of his mother, Charlotte Mary Emily Nugent-Dunbar's house. The house was just a very short distance down the road from Castle Wemyss and there is now a small block of flats standing in part of the footprint of her house. There is a picture of her house in the Canmore site. She died in 1951.
