Wonderful indeed 👍 Down memory lane... HD bn a student myself for 6 long yrs during 1971-77 for BE n ME courses. Tht was undoubtedly golden period of life! We wre part of 125 yrs celebration in 1972. Stayed in almost all Bhawans, except Sarojini. Was Chief Mess Counsellor Azad Bhawan. Left d campus only after selection to IES thru UPSC. Further, My son too completed his BTech hre during 1997-2001. Attended our Silver Jubilee reunion in year 2000. And now looking forward to our Golden Jubilee in 2025 inShaAllah! Best wishes n good luck to past present n future Thomasonians💐 Their present is our past And Our present is their future!

Thanks to the team, it is the best place for learning science and technology for productive works for betterment of nation. I am proud to be an IIT Roorkee (IITR) Alumni.

The film produces a feeling of nostalgia for my alma-mater from where I graduated in the year1960. The documentary is well produced and its contributions in the past, such as the construction of Ganga canal, have been mentioned. However, the contribution in the recent decades have been made only in general terms. Perhaps, the achievement could have been made in more specific terms. Vinay Shankar, 1960 Civil Engineering

Now IIT is a brand, all original five IITs were established since 1960 (IIT kharagpur in 1952) IIT Roorkee is youngest one (2001). So public in General and IIT aspirants in Particular keep Roorkee IIT satus in lower rank because they are unaware its historical past so Such videos, short pics on nearly two century old glorious legacy of this institution of Excellence must be braught in public domain. Good initiative! We celebrated the proud moment at New Jersey founding a new alumni chapter.

I am so proud of my association with IIT Roorkee. I joined as faculty member in 1958, was professor of ECE Dept 1963-74, welcomed PM Indira Gandhi for the inauguration of electronics and Communication engineers Dept in 1967. So proud of my students there!

Proud to be a part of R&D projects in the field of Highway Engineering, at the beginning of my career with (then) Roorkee University during mid eighties
