For the second year running we have a charity as the front of shirt sponsor (CALM) so no hideous betting firm, thank god! Our away shirt was even sold by Classic Football Shirts!!

Small update for transparency; I’ve had it confirmed by other retailers that the shirts are genuine in this case (they were offered out). So at least they are real if not resell-able.

All of these mystery box companies are scams. They mainly buy in bulk from M&M Direct or Classic Football Shirt clearance for cheap. They give out the odd big name shirt for appearances on social media but the majority are unheard of teams.

I'm curious about this. From my experience ordering from their US store, I have been moderately satisfied. The only offerings they have are the mystery boxes and no other extras like the socks, prints, etc. Free two-day DHL shipping to here on the west coast of the USA. Last month I got Odisha from the ISL, and it didn't have the style tags on the inside and only a QC sticker from I assume the manufacturer (Hummel). I guess this would maybe line up with what they told you about their sourcing of shirts like your Napoli one. At the time, I didn't think too much about it. I also don't know how lucrative this shirt would be to warrant anyone making fakes of them (the amount of screen printing alone is astonishing). This month, I received Werder Bremen's kit from last season. This one did come with the retail barcodes, inner style tags, rubberized logo, etc.. This would be the level of quality I would expect from a shirt of a bigger club (although mine did have a small bobble/pill on the collar). I don't have doubts that this is a real shirt. Value is very subjective. For myself - a football fan in the USA, non-collector, I think it's been worth the money to maybe get a shirt that fits me from a club that I would need to otherwise send away for and pay pretty high customs/import fees and wait ages. I like the channel. I am always very interested to see the collections of people around the world. Cheers!

If the tags have been removed it sometimes means it's a seconds and hasn't passed QC

Have ya not tried to email EA7 and see if this is true? To me that sounds hella dodgy lol proper scam for sure but who knows maybe is legit but doesn’t sound it, why they add tags on afterwards? Seems a strange process

This company just hoes from bad to worse. If there's residue of a label then surely its been cut off. I've never bought an EA shirt but I'm fairly sure they haveca tag in them with a QR code to check authenticity. I've blocked their ads on Facebook as they were popping up on my feed as much as they do on yours. The Irish lass with her tappy finger nails went right through me. You'd think with an RRP of £75 you'd have a team from Western Europe from tge current or last season. Looks like the came in with a bang and now are being lazy. Reminds me of another mystery shirt company, coincidentally based in Ireland (but the Republic) who scammed me and constantly tried to fob me off. I won out in the end, kind of.

Shocking the Napoli shirt, I'd also be unhappy with a GK shirt unless advertised. I've seen mystery boxes which sells GK/Training shirts at a reduced price but GK shirts often end up in sales for much less.

The explanation as to why there are not tags in the Napoli shirt sounds like something you might say to a customer who doesn't know much about verifying football shirts!

I would not trust that company and certainly wouldn’t order from them again. Whether the shirt is fake or not, you can’t confirm it, and that’s not acceptable when you are paying a not insignificant amount of money.

So I have an issue or two with mystery shirt box companies. I’ve used multiple companies in the past and shirt in a box is one of them. I too have received orders with player cards and team cards missing. They are very hit and miss. The main issue I have with not just shirt in a box but mystery shirt boxes in general is you never normally get a shirt that is worth the price of the mystery box let alone the original retail price. I understand there’s a mystery element to the whole thing & that’s what makes it exciting. However, while it’s nice to receive a shirt from a team & league that you’ve never heard of, from a country that you’d never normally come across. It’s still not worth the money. To get a fair price for the random shirt you’re actually getting you’d be much better using sites like eBay or Vinted. I understand that every now and again you’ll get a shirt that is worth the price. However the majority of the time you just simply won’t.

I was worried when you mentioned the company's name. There's one with a very similar name that is sell all sorts of "retro" shirts at one price point, £34.99. Thankfully, this wasn't them. And I'd say from first glance that definitely isn't a 9/10.

Great video, for me the nicest is the Florentina shirt! I haven't bought a mystery shirt yet. Its a good business model but I feel for £35 I can usually find a good shirt that I actually want rather than risk getting a random team I have never heard of 😂
