    Great video-- how did you break the nuts and bolts loose? Mine are on so tight that I cant loosen any of them- despite penetrating oil and heating with a torch--- you made it look easy-- but in my case its definitely not . Tried an impact wrench after-- just stripped the nuts.. Those babys were put on tight and I'm betting they used something like locktite when they put it together/

      Thank you and thanks for watching and commenting. Your situation seems to be pretty extreme. Your best bet is to get as much leverage as possible on a wrench or ratchet. I did. I could have left it the way that it was, but spraying it afterwards helped get rid of the roller strokes. Unless you can get the whole bed done in a short period of time, in cool weather, you will end up with roller strokes. The spray is also good for touch-ups or missed spots.

Works with F150, F150 Lightning, F250 Super Duty and F350 Super Duty (Years 21-23), I looked up the part (Lakeland Ford) and they have it for $629.46. If you haven't done so, go to some of the Ford forums. There's a lot of discussion about exactly what you are talking about. They are definitely clueless at the dealerships. My former dealership had it on the sticker as included in the purchase. I questioned where it was and I was told it was installed, so I asked where are the pieces and parts for the trailer? Clueless! They were trying to pull a quick one on me. A salesman told me that they were tossing accessories/options in to other trucks in order to sell them even though they weren't included in the price.

      No problem. Thanks for watching and commenting. In my case, I went thicker due to slope and frost line, and also out of concern for the way the guys would handle the tank when putting it in position. I have seen them in action. I was afraid they would have it go in hard on one leg and knock an edge or a corner off. The tank weighs 1,000lbs and when it is full it weighs 2,650lbs. There's a lot of weight concentrated on those little legs.

    So what I am hearing is I'm never going to replace my leaky reservoir 😅. Mostly because wow - that's a lot of work and also, I tore my front bumper off years ago & it's being held on by zip ties and a prayer. Mechanics really don't get enough praise. Thank you for all you do.

      Thank you for watching and commenting. Yes, unfortunately you may not be able to repair it anytime soon unless you want to remove the zip ties and pray again.

    Maybe I missed it looking through your videos but I didn’t see the actual break and rotor change out process on the 2021. Is it the same as the previous years you have on here ?

    • @RoCDIY
      @RoCDIY Před měsícem

      Maybe what I said was misleading, but it wasn't intentional. I have done a brake change and painted calipers on my truck, but I have not changed out rotors. The point in mentioning all the different things you could possibly do related to brakes should be done while in brake service mode in order to avoid faults.

    Damn! What a struggle to replace one headlight man! HA! I'm gonna have to do this for my daughter's 2008 CR-V, I assumed all the top screws, retainers, bolts, etc..., I'd have to do, but I never expected to remove the bumper cover and all that bottom stuff:) JEEZ! Glad I watched though for sure, and why Honda had to use 4 different screws in the same headlight is absurd. Guess they're just making Honda dealers happy and rich:) LMAO!

    • @RoCDIY
      @RoCDIY Před měsícem

      It is really odd that they made it this way. Maybe they thought it would be less likely that an owner would have to replace the light housing and more likely that they would just replace the bulbs. I don't know. I discovered this last week that it isn't just the CRV. You have to do the same thing on the 2007 Honda Accord too. I guess the idea of slide in, slide out headlights was too much or too easy. I am sure many people who intend on doing this give up as soon as they realize what is involved. It's not difficult, but it is very time consuming. Also, be prepared to buy retainers. With the age of the car everything tends to break easily.

    Sweeping 90s might give more suction than sharp ones. Awesome system! If you decide you need even more suction, blast gates could help on the branches. Also, Clearview makes a crazy powerful cyclone if you have need for even more. Really nice shop!!

    • @RoCDIY
      @RoCDIY Před měsícem

      Thanks for watching and commenting. I started the work with some PVC I already had on hand, so the project continued with 90s. I was aware that I would lose some vacuum, but I didn't think it would be much. If I were to do it again I would use the lighter weight PVC, sweeping 90s, and I would go with a 1 1/2 or 2 HP dust collector. Also, I am still considering whether to buy blast gates or 3D print them.

    when you have to reduce it would be good to split into two+ smaller hoses and try to use them on different sides of the tools. Don't reinvent the wheel, others have good videos on this.

      @RoCDIY Před měsícem

      Ok. Thanks for the input. I intentionally don't watch "others" videos. I like to have some originality and go through my own thought process, even if it means "reinventing the wheel" or learning from my mistakes.

    Just wanna mention, if your rear hatch isn’t working either, don’t buy a rear hatch actuator just yet. Fix the door first, it might fix the rear hatch, just the way they wired these. The rear hatch won’t unlock unless all four doors successfully unlock first

    Great video @RoCDIY My shop is small but I like the idea of 3D custom fittings to work with my dust collecting shop vac. BTW, do you have plans for your table/miter saw cart? That looks ideal for my tiny shop. Thanks!

    • @RoCDIY
      @RoCDIY Před měsícem

      Thanks. I appreciate it. I know the feeling of working out of a small shop. I was working out of a shed for 4 1/2 years. Had to pull everything out just to do any work. I downloaded the table plans from Etsy at a cost. The plans weren't that great and you can find them free on the internet.

  • @ReVerthex
    @ReVerthex Před měsícem

    Just a heads up, if you lock down the hose port for the table saw you won't be able to angle the blade for bevel cuts anymore as the 3D printed pipe will be locked in place.

    • @RoCDIY
      @RoCDIY Před měsícem

      Thanks for confirming what I was thinking. I wasn't trying to make a bevel cut, but I caught on to that yesterday. Luckily, nothing is glued or screwed yet. I am going to put a flexible hose between the elbow and a new end piece that will be locked down. Thanks for watching and commenting.

      You may have already done it, but you may have to unplug/restart (base) and/or do a factory reset. I had the same issue and it seems like it is only this particular camera that does it.

    What is up with the pto in this model?

    • @RoCDIY
      @RoCDIY Před měsícem

      I don't know, but it is really weird timing that you brought this up as I am experiencing what you are asking about. I used my mower yesterday and it was running like crap. Mine feels like it is going to launch me sometimes and other times it feels like it's about to completely die when I engage the PTO. I had a burning smell and smoke, but it stopped before I could inspect/find it. Pretty sure this all related to PTO.
