We are from the US. We lived in Virginia Water for 3 years and central London for 2 years. My wife drove in the right hand land once out near Chobham. Thankfully there was nobody else on the road at the time. She pulled over, got in the passenger seat and refused to drive for the rest of the time we were in VW! No car needed in central London. We came back to the US at the end of 2020, so no need to worry about my wife on your roads anymore. 😯

Sorry your riding like and absolutely twat And i have been riding for over 40 years you will end up in a box or mangled up slow down don't undertake on the near side, the space around you is your biggest friend. This is said not to be horrible but so you will be around longer

Sorry mate your going far to fast between cars trucks......a pedestrian would have no chance.....please slow down. Also passing trucks on the blind side is not a great idea. I fear filtering will be banned if this reckless riding carries on. Sorry mate.....needed to be said.

Nice job, I ride into London now and again on my Triumph Trident 660, to the 'Ace Cafe'. Traffic is mad and you need eyes in the back of your head but I've managed without problems so far.

I commute from Kent to St Katherine Dock twice a week. I use the A2 > Blackwall Tunnel > A13. That usually includes around 6 miles !!!!! of hardcore filtering like in your video. It’s no fun. Kudos to all my fellow filtering superheroes! Keep safe.

Some of the comments say that was not close the van should not be driving on the wrong side of the road probably on his mobile phone the biker was riding a safe speed and could take action

A bit of a bad surprise. I had a similar thing happen in NZ with a Chinese dude who forgot we drive on the left here. He ended up almost having a head on but pulled even further to the right.

I see that so often now, especially since there are so many potholes on the kerbs. Good job you were doing a sensible speed too.

I had a fire engine over taking a line of traffic on a shout do this to me at about 60mph on a narrow road. Couldn’t go left or right. I literally closed my eyes and prepared to die. I had about 5 seconds to see it unfold in front of me which seemed like forever. Somehow and I don’t know how it missed me at the last second 😳

take it your London based, get out of that concrete jungle and into the countryside so much nicer and better for you too

The real reason why this standard of driving is becoming prevalent is the lack of police patrol cars enforcing the law. The police aren't interested in preventing accidents just investigating after the event.

At 34/35 sec you’re on the right hand side of the road on a bend going right - you need to attend bikesafe run by the police - yes the guy was wrong to cross the line but you also need to look at your road position to make it safer for you

It happened to me same thing coming up to a junction, east European driver at the wheel of the van, coming straight at me, either the driver was not thinking, pissed or thought he was back in Poland. GOOD LUCK.
