The temperature is 29 in the fish room too tanks are 29 middle tanks are 27/28 and bottom is 26… I don’t do anything really other then keep the water clean in the tank and feed them good quality foods 👌👍 How many do you have in your tank? And what’s the sexes?

That’s what I’ve got temperature the same,good quality of food all the time and water spotless clean with my sump,but more likely I’ve got more males than females and maybe that’s the problem

@@marianzapaticky I think just from what you are telling me, your problem could simply be to many males… ideally you want 2 males in the tank one can be the sub and the other dominant 😁 Where in the world are you from?

@@TBMAQUATICS thanks for getting back to me mate,I live in Swindon for a while about 20 years and originally I’m from Slovakia.was playing with the tank and looks like I’ve got 5 males in total including one super white L236 and just two females.if I’m right

The only species I’ve ever kept that has eaten black beard algae has been some mature flag tails that I had years ago… the best thing you can do in dip the plants and wood in peroxide… 1/2ml to a litre for around 3/4 minutes… the back beard algae with turn deep red and die

Not with these ones, the linear piston air pumps polystyrene works but with the diaphragm ones it doesn’t make a difference unfortunately… if you look at the shelf it was sitting on polystyrene before mate 😒😒

Hey mate, I just took them for a video I’m making at the moment.. tds 110, ph 6.8, kh 4 gh 4 I mix corys a bit of everything in the fishroom but think I’ve mainly been giving these guys mussel soft gran by ebo foods

Honestly mate I don’t really have any on the gold lasers, I will check exact parameters during this week and add them to the next video… they were spawning on an airline above a sponge filter in the tank they were in before.. I feed them a pretty varied diet… mainly only consisting of ebo and dr bassleer foods. Your having better luck then me with the sterbai then 😅 mine have been on strike for a while now Thanks for watching mate!

@@TBMAQUATICS with my sterbai i keep them in a normal 2 foot tank with just a sponge, once a week/when i want them to spawn i feed live blood worms, 50% water change with cold water and put a power head in the tank for extra flow and then the next morning eggs everywhere lol so that what i thought with the laser but they dont seem to want to know 😔 I havent tired the dr bassleer or ebo foods, i seen alot of people use them but never got them, what do you think of them?

@@richardperry9005 that’s pretty much what I was doing with my sterbai but I may start giving them some live black worms again.. or potentially they could do with some young fresh blood in the group.. I’ll give that a go and let you know how I get on 👍 I swear by the ebo foods for spawning plecos and I really like to raise my fry on food soft gran. Dr bassleer I really like as an every day feed. @@topnelly if you live in a building they might be running water softeners to maintain the pipe work and valves and stuff a bit better… I’m no plumber but I guess it would have something connected to your mains that’s taking minerals out 🤷🏻‍♂️ But very strange as you are close to hasting and it’s that soft mate. But whatever it is at least it’s helping out with keeping a low TDS

@@topnelly yeah mate hypans between 100-180 just there tanks gets a bit more crap in it, and they do fine breeding up to 180tds It’s just my frogs like the super clean softer water 60-80 tds for breeding, it just means you have to keep on top water changes to stop ph fluctuations really

I actually put my old mics on the radiator for a few hours, but the hollyland mics turned up midway through the video, so I’ll be using them in the next 👌 The zebs are the same as the 236 333 333albino and 136 Tds between 100-180 Kh3/4 Gh3/4 Ph 7

I’ve always wanted to try the power granules from origin… where abouts in the world are you from mate? I order mine online in bulk from either hall and or Germany… the uk sellers are so greedy and put it up so high I think £16-19 for 120g I’m pretty sure… I sell 100g pouches for £10 of most ebo foods…
