La nouvelle Samaritaine, je l'ai découverte en juin dernier. Le lieu est somptueux, magnifiquement restauré. On est admiratif. Un temple érigé au luxe et à ses grandes marques. Ce n'est plus un grand magasin, mais une galerie marchande. On n'y croise que des touristes, pas de parisiens. Le lieu est vide, sans âme. Même les vendeurs sont étrangers. Comme je regrette la "Samar" d'autrefois, populaire, vivante, pleine d'une clientèle hétéroclite ! On y trouvait tout, comme disait le slogan ! Hélas, aujourd'hui, un bel écrin, mais superficiel et froid. Ce n'est plus Paris.
Entièrement d’accord. L’architecture art déco et la lumière sont superbes mais c’est comme un show-room dédié au luxe (comme Le Bon Marché et Le Printemps.

We were there in May as well. We love the small art shop on the corner with some very innovative pieces. It was FREE and well worth the visit.

Le jardin du Luxembourg, tel que j'aime y flâner depuis 50 ans. Oasis au cœur de la capitale. Parisiens et touristes y sont confondus. Autrefois, les chaises étaient payantes ! Les gardiens veillaient !
