Amazing coloraturaaaa!!!
Renee Fleming is an amazing opera coach besides being a fabulous soprano. She keeps giving much confidence and essential techniques to Liv Redpath here in this clip. Thanks a lot for posting this clip.
Wow that voice is amazing! Reminds me a little of Kathleen Battle.
Incredibly good from the start--I completely forgot to listen critically.
Wow, Sigrid. What a treat!
What a joy to listen to. She reminds me of Elisabeth Harwood, and that's the greatest compliment I can give.
Wow! you're going to have a career if you want one.
This girl is ready for a great career! She has everything!
Fantastic!
Stunning. Absolutely Stunning. Charming, not campy, and crystal clear.
Just started to listen to opera lately and I am no expert, but you did a fantastic job!
Brava!
I can't imagine singing in a masterclass with Renée Fleming. That would be a dream come true. That is so exciting that you could do that, and your voice is so beautiful! Well done!
AMAZING that fleming's voice is so resonant even as she half-trills...
Oh so wonderful. What a beautiful video. THank you for posting
I don't know if I could deal singing in front of her. So star-struck!
Wonderfully responsive student performance, great commentary by Renee... thank you for posting this!
OK oops first lesson - listen to the whole video where she states it's the fairygodmother!
How gorgeous - what top notes! Is this the fairy godmother aria?
Wow, what a beautiful voice. You sang so tastefully and with such charm, especially considering the fact that one of the most famous sops in the world was less than 10 paces from you! Congrats :)
This singer is so wonderful! Renee is right about the "chills." In regards to La Diva Renee: it's so easy to see how brilliant she is by watching her teach someone; the way she talks about the music, how she breaks it downs, the way she's able to see behind/under/beside the text and read so deeply into it. She is an extraordinary talent and we are so lucky to have her.
This is so beautiful! Renee is right when she says, "you're cotton candy, you're sparkle." It made me giggle, but it's true!
Wow!! Just as Fleming said at the end, "What a gift!"
Yes, four other singers sang that day, and did a great job. Perhaps they or the Harvard Office For The Arts will post those performances? I do not feel I have the right to do so.
Lovely! Are there other master classes from this session you can post?
"Sing to the cheap seats they're the ones who really love you" How can you not LOVE this woman!
