A ski lift is a mechanism for transporting skiers up a hill. Ski lifts are typically a paid service at ski resorts.
Aerial lifts transport skiers while suspended off the ground. Aerial lifts are often bicable ropeways, the "bi-" prefix meaning that the cables have two different functions (carrying and pulling).

When did doppelmayr change their ring sound? Or are there multiple options? My home mountain has a 2010 uni-g with a 2 pitch beeping, not a ring.

The unload on this lift ended up being too steep for beginners. It was amusing to watch every third chair wipe out dramatically on busy days. Hopefully they regrade this summer.

@@LiftTech busy is good but also nice to have some downtime. The ‘changeover’ video from a few weeks ago is that the same style system? That one did look fresh and new. Believe that was in California.

Yes, in this video the second section was closed. But it could be configured to keep going up.

Mood lighting, how romantic 😂. Be cool to see some stations with coloured lights or something. I know not really suited for outdoor snow stations but you could really make some stand out with theming. Cool video to see as always. Oh geez that stress load test video! WOW! That was insane the tension.
