Would you ever consider a Sony FX6 for your concert work or would that be too much?

I prefer the Pentax espio 928. It’s 28 mm and it’s faster lens f3.5. PS cameras starting at 38 mm is not wide enough for me. I also got a remote control for it and it’s handy for tripod shooting.

Im in PDX took, I shoot a sony A1 with a 40mm batis, and am debating going leica q3 or used Q2 Monochrom, what would you do?

The photos are great!

The 50mm is to be used up close and personal, along with a nice background, along with using your rule of thirds. That’s how that lens works.

A ND centre grad can help with the vignetting if it bothers you. They used to make one for the XPan.

Overpriced considering you can get a brass M4-2 or M4-P which are the same camera without a meter for a lot less $$. I speak from 40 years of experience with these. An internet trend camera, the exact reason to avoid it.

Excellent video, probably one of my favorite XPAN videos I have found! Lots of keepers. 7:20 is most “printable/frameable IMO. I plan to post a XPAN vid this fall. . . . Sea Lion Caves are in a 1/4 mile.

The camera I bought in 1971, a Konica Autoreflex T, had a 50mm lens. My life, for 40 years, was recorded through that one lens. I have good memories from that focal length.

I wish they had added the joystick that's on the SL series

Incredible expensive and hyped it is… however a great camera. But you pay for a little bit of that tactile feeling that is said to come with it and of course the name.

I have a Q2 and an M11, which I bought about 15 months after the Q2. I’ve now had the M11 for over 2 years and I think I take better photos with the Q2 and I’m finding that I have to force myself to take the M11 out for a shoot. I can always shoot at 1/15s and sometimes lower with the Q2 and only sometimes at 1/15s with the M11 and never lower. I do a fair amount of IR photography and that’s the only area that the M11 is significantly better than the Q2. How do you find the output of your M11 compared to the Q3?

In my little experience scanning with an older model (Epson Perfection 4490 Photo), flatbed scanning is soooo slow. Especially if you’re working without a MacBook and image capture. I’m assuming a more modern scanner probably works a little more efficiently, but scanning your negatives with a digital camera if you have the means to do so is most definitely the best option.

Problem is, if it breaks your pretty much toast.
