Sadly, none of these games would make me want a PS5. I really wish I hadn't sold my PS4 Pro, to upgrade to PS4 Pro Pro (in a silly box). The 9th gen might be the one that kills consoles and sells gaming PCs.

Nothing sad about the Dreamcast. Some things just aren’t meant to last, or even be here long. Those were the best few years in gaming and it’s never been the same since.

First N64 games were Mario64 and Cruis’n USA. My older brother took it out from under the Christmas tree and hid the games and console and my younger brother and I had to do a scavenger hunt to find them.

You left out one of my favorite parts of the Mystical Ninja. It had so many minigames you could play and even an arcade within the game with more games to play. Having different games within a game you're already playing was such a novel concept for the time.

Best gaming channel about atm for me! My first N64 game was SM64 of course. My parents got me the console and game for Christmas when I was a young warthog and I found out which cupboard they were hiding it in. I'd regularly sneak the box out and just look at it and smell it. Yes smell it.

What an amazing console, completely screwed by the Saturn's failure. Had the Saturn been competitive during the 5th generation, who knows what would've happened with the Dreamcast. When it came out, the general reaction was "it seems cool, but I'm waiting for the PS2"

It's pretty much established in every RPG forums that while FF7 was the most popular and possibly significat RPG of PS1 (or even all time), it was far from the best. On the PS1, FF9 is generally considered the best. And even Suikoden II and Vagrant Story a are usually better regarded than FF7. FF Tactics meanwhile is considered the best SRPG of all time by many.

Final Fantasy X shouldn't be on the list at all, much less at number one. First actively bad game in the series. Suikoden V would have been a far better representative of its series; SIII is just a mess. Persona 4 is better than 3 in most areas. Props for FFXII, though; that one is badly underappreciated.
