Spring Legion was created for turkey hunters, and we believe turkey hunters are different. We are turkey hunters, not filmmakers. What you will see on our channel is raw and real turkey hunting, and we hope you will understand in the event a choice is to be made between good footage and a good shot. The brand symbolizes real hunting, the traditions of old school turkey hunting, and all else that is not subject to change in turkey hunting culture. We do not aim to making turkey hunting easier, but instead we strive to become better turkey hunters. Our channel features real hunts on both private and public land, real time calling and silence, and honest results for what did and did not work in the woods. What our channel does not feature is background music, eleven camera angles, or a decoy. We ask that you join us in this journey of preserving a well-earned respect for traditional turkey hunters across the country, and may you enjoy tagging along.

Had five Jake's come in behind me, and couldn't get them infront of me. I wasn't in a blind and was sitting up against a tree, had to slowly get up behind the tree and turn around. They started to get spooked and I tried to get a line on them, but missed. It happens and like you said. If you ain't missed a turkey, you haven't hunted enough.

Missed 2 this weekend. The first I rushed the shot thru brush the second came to my blind side and I got twisted in a knot and had to turn and shot quick . I’m new to the sport and I’m able to call them in to distance but none of this matters if I can’t hit em lol. I appreciate this conversation!
Need a snake-proof version of them. That's the whole reason I wear gaiters for turkey hunting, but finding a waterproof and snake-proof gaiter so far has been impossible.

You can! We went back and played it using truck speakers and you can hear alot of the drumming towards the end. It was 10x as loud in person

Well...I practiced yelps and purrs this weekend in Claiborne County....it worked. Got 6 return calls....they were headed straight 4 me when I got up and went back to cabin....this channels advice and videos are great. Thank you gentlemen. Will be ordering your gaiters as a thank you

Yep...they like open fields and rain. A short cut field>longer grass field. This is true in the ams with the dew on the ground. I have especially had em start cranking up after a hard rain and the sun comes out.

Way to much calling
Classic over calling to a bird. Hung him up out of range for quite a while. That bird only needed 3 calls at the most but we become so obsessed with hearing ourselves call vs truly understanding it'd affect on turkeys.
