Cafe Racers Japan - Revisited
After releasing Cafe Racers Japan almost two years ago, we look back at this project and what it has become. At first, we set out to document a film about the local scene, but it is the outlook and attitude of the people within the scene that created the real story and has opened up much debate on, Who is a Cafe Racer? Their obsession with themselves and fashion is fascinating to some and annoying to others and it is this discussion that makes the film intriguing.

I just saw the SR 400 and the Royal Enfield Bullet the other day at the dealers. Since this documentary, it's amazing to think that manufacturers decided to continue production of these vintage bikes in 2015. So yeah, I saw them brand new with zero miles, push rod technology with a whopping kick starter. Someone needs to upload a video on that Enfield in this documentary!

I have an '84 GB250 Clubman which was imported to the UK four years ago. I absolutely love the bike when it is running, but spares for them are incredibly difficult to find and she has ben off the road for nearly two years now. :(
