M9 News Journalist Nishant sat with Director Krishna Chaitanya ahead of the release of his Gangs of Godavari starring Vishwak Sen.
We asked Krishna Chaitanya about how Gangs of Godavari happened? How the script started with Nara Rohit and then went to Sharwanand, and then ended up at Vishwak Sen's doorstep.
Krishna Chaitanya also explained the influence of Sukumar and about the comparison to Ram Charan's Rangasthalam.
Speaking about the cuss words in the film, Krishna Chaitanya said, "My personal opinion is films should be clean without cuss words. I do not want to feel inconvenience while watching with families. But Vishwak insisted. He convinced me saying it is good. After watching the trailer, I was convinced".
He also spoke about the famous rain song, Suttamla (Neha Shetty) and how he got his cousin write the song.
Krishna Chaitanya also explained his version about the controversy in which he came under criticism for his opinion on Andhra people.
He also explained his relation with Trivikram Srinivas and even added, "I am not his fan. I am like a Terrorist to Trivikram. Forget Gunturkaaram, even if he makes a film just with the start, interval, and finish, I will be impressed with it".
Krishna Chaitanya also revealed about his ambitious project, Powerpeta.
