I need the first date to be dinner and a movie. I want to see if you own anything other than shorts, tshirt and slops. I want to see how you treat the waiter and car guard. And I need to know that you don't talk during the movie! 😂
I dated a guy who was broke and didn't want to do much about it. The money he made randomly,he used for weed. His friends took us everywhere. He didn't believe in voting. He didn't believe in getting a driver's lisence. I had to pay if I wanted to do anything fun. It just got worse as time went by. He didnt want to move out of his parents place because he wanted to inherit the house. I began to resent him. After 3 yrs I gave him an ultimatum, he had to have a job or I'm gone. And even then I just couldn't anymore. I feel like it wasted 4 yrs of my life and led me to believe that all ppl who smoke weed are lazy. I think it's gotta be an even split or give and take. If he can't take care of himself then he can't take care of you.
I am so glad to be off the market. Wow! Dating has become complicated. I can honestly say that I have been very fortunate to have never paid for a date. I guess I dated in a time when chivalry was still alive🤔 In our household we have always pooled everything. No matter who earns what. We pool everything and then pay all the bills and buy the groceries etc. What is left after, is for us for fun. If somebody wants or needs something it gets bought out of the pool. No fighting or arguing about money. We work together. And I can honestly say that I am kak with money, I waste and buy rubbish so my partner keeps me in check but never in a way that I don't get what I want or need. We have been happy like this for 22 years and counting. I think its important to be committed to building together. I think I got a good one because even after all these years he pays for dinner😉
