yeah Alex is def a character that the devs designed his whole character around getting back turns from chop, and then ended up being a character where players never use medium or heavy chop. just way too slow.

please record these with a decent volume level for the video, if i turn it up so i can hear the sound, it makes your voice incredibly loud. game audio doesnt need to be super loud or louder than your voice but please make the gap smaller

I was a Yun since I started playing, and I think you are the first elena player I know (I really dont know too many since the character is universally disliked/boring anyway) that thinks has a fair 5 - 5 against him. I think only a few good Evil Ryu or Gouki players thought the Yun matchup was fair lmao.

Necro yun MU is so ass because necro has no good answer to yuns approach, and no good way in. Every route to pressure just gets nullified by how fast he wakes up, you can't build on anything and its basically back to neutral after anything other than super. Twins easily are his worst MU then chun and akuma IMO

29:51 Q is also based off a tokusatsu character called Robot Detective K, they have almost identical heads and coat and they gave Q a red color to match the reference further, i remember seeing a jp twitter post about it. I guess whatever capcom designer making Q liked him because he seems pretty obscure in the genre, at least among those that made it to the west, it was made like 20 years before sf3 was released so i wonder how many japanese players even made the connection. It is really funny that he has no human form tho he just changes clothes or takes them off lol

I always interpreted Yang and Yun's level to be a sort of make-shift performance stage, built on top of construction material in a construction lot within a big city. The main reason i think this is because you can see the heads of the people in the crowd on Yun's version of the stage (and also barely in Yang's). they're clearly at head-height, so i dont think the fighters are on a roof of anything per-say, but they're also clearly not at ground level. it also could be like a farmers market or something (similar to the 2i stage), and the metal/wood is literally like reinforced tents or something, but iunno cuz these dudes are slamming each other on the ground idk if a couple tents could handle a KKZ or something so idk how realistic that would be.
