Formed in early 2003 in Astrakhan (Southern Russia), VESPERO went through numerous personnel changes, produced quite a few low budget recordings, and turned into a mainstay of local scene before releasing their official debut album in 2007. They spend most of the time diligently honing their musical craft and inventing their own fantasy world somewhere near the crossroads of psychedelic, space rock, progressive rock, kraut-rock, avant-garde poetry and live theatrical performance.

Fun times! Thanks for sharing this jam session. Good improv only happens if the drums and bass lay down the foundation and hold the space. You guys always do so this was easy for others to join in the fun :) The soprano sax player is great, you should invite him for some serious recordings in the near future.

It was old hollowbody bass Musima 1655 B, that was customized by one great bass master - he done new neck, added piezo pickup and active timber-block. Now it sounds like mini double-bass.
