Pretty much every white southern church barred black people from attending and MLK regularly had to contend with other pastors accusing him of stoking racial tensions. If you read Letter from Birmingham Jail, King even addresses these pastors directly. American churches tend to be deeply conservative, even today.

@@welza001 He said I need the stats, the doesn’t give any stats. Proceeds to talk about his own person feelings for 45 seconds when he could have very easily fit 4 or 5 good stats in there. If you tell me his 15 minutes has one actually statistic I would watch but I doubt it and I don’t want to go looking for it.

There was a tweet he put out about all lives matter or something, maybe black history month, where he was examining what made him feel like erasing race or being raceblind, colorblind etc was his defensive reaction, and simply released it. So i feel like he's realized it in himself and denounced that subtler sense of racism. But it's not your, my, or Jesus' forgiveness that's up for grabs on this one, I'm sure internetainer-man appreciates it though ❤

@@celaestisamory1834 I was playing. Kinda joking about how his Church's Jesus is probably ok with racism. In that case, I forgive racist Jesus. Actually, if I'm ok with homosexuals, why cannot I afford racists the same tolerance? In fact, I do. Freedom of speech is freedom of thought. As long as acting on that racism doesn't violate other's rights.

@@celaestisamory1834 also, most lives matter. Isn't the way to end racism, to be colorblind? Isn't having a month or a Day just reinforcing who is in-group, and by corollary, who isn't.

​@@zitools You can't end racism by just pretending it doesn't exist... You have to acknowledge the inequalities in society and adjust them color blind isn't an option right now because there is far too much inequality in our society.

I think it may have just been a culture shock to us considering the show is Korean, but I agree that the show did not have to be so graphic.
