ASPEN LAKES - BIG CARP BANKED - NEW PB
Just returned from a very special day session at Aspen Lake Fisheries resulting in two Carp - one a new personal best Mirror at 44lb 7oz.
The first Carp was 29lb 4oz and both were caught on a test Hinders Baits blitz pop-up fished over a mix of crushed boilies, pellets and some prepared buckwheat particle.

Could you not go fishing all the time seeing that carp was heaven no stress and no aggravation
You can't get decent size hemp anymore it's all tiny.
I'm afraid this years crop was smaller than normal - Next crop due in October!! Please check back in with us! Kindest regards Steve

How can you fish accurately with these ?
It can take a bit of practice and you can be limited to 100 yards or so depending on conditions and set-up! Well worth sticking with it! Tight lines

A very good hemp seed video I have always used hemp seed since I was 10 years old I am in my 40s now so hemp seed is a good carp fishing bait you can add all kinds of flavours to it to make it more interesting for your carp fishing 🎣 👍 👌

Used to do tares years ago by soaking overnight and adding Bicarb of soda. When boiling in the pan you need to make sure they do not go past a certain point or they will turn mushy. Catch them right they will fit on the hook but be soft enough to squeeze apart. Booster liquids were not about years ago but very likely will work. Secret was feed hemp and fish tares.

Sorry for the delay - That was up in the top corner by the water inlet. Perfect timing for this trip, it was getting warm and a large group of carp moved into the shallows. Mixed with some good angling & bait of course lol. Tight lines Steve
