I know it's not pivotal, but I like to see the little details you put into these. 😂

Saying you hate the game while crying and not really meaning it is the perfect reaction. It mirrors Tidus's reaction to seeing his dad inside Sin exactly. Always enjoying seeing another person fall in love with this absolute masterpiece.

You should really play Tactics. The story isn't a tear jerker but it's till really good and the gameplay is also really good plus it rounds off the PS1 Final Fantasies for you, unless you haven't played 8 in which you probably should play that one too even though it's debatably the worst one of the bunch in terms of gameplay mechanics

I really need to reinstall this and finish the game. I was waiting on the solo stuff because playing MMO's with other people gives me super anxiety

One thing I love about Tidus is how he's different compared to the other protagonists we get. He isn't sincere and gloomy. He's just a silly guy who is very confused over what's going on.
