THE LOST COUNTRY MUSIC RECORDINGS
This is a lost recording of, dare I say, a "primitive" country singer/songwriter. I have no idea who it is or was and can only assume they have passed away by now. I would love to know who this was.

    Fascinating (though a bit sad & heartbreaking, if course). A shame Devo didn't have him appear in their video for the song "Whip It". His life certainly had it's highs & lows. Married 10 times ? Heavens to Murgatroyd ! I'm surprised there wasn't a revolving door named after him at the Los Angeles County Marriage Bureau ! I hope he was able to get a few more roles after this interview so he could get his SAG pension. Poor fellow. 😞

      Honest answer.....that's the million dollar question. What to do. Many different groups have ideals and agenda's. What will be the Governments stance? Which varies from the military to the Dept. of the Interior. The Corporate...(ie the oil & gas, timber, and mining companies) response? Then you have colleges, universities, zoological societies through to PETA. Lastly the private citizen response. All competing ideals & agenda's. So you see my friend all good questions you raise butt, the answer is very complex.

      Interesting Pagodas...I've seem similar structures but figured it was from snow on the thin trees. I'm almost as far north in Wisc. as one can get. Lots of snow and ice on trees but your Pagodas look like they are made with "hands". They are artfully done. The "Weaving" together of tree limbs is something we do see up here.I will keep watching this chanell to find out more about the Pagodas because they remind me of the Sweat lodges my Anishinnabe friends construct. Maybe the Pagodas have a Cerimonial purpose to a Spiritualy minded being we don't yet understand?

    First of all, I apologize because my English is not very good. I am from Barcelona (Catalonia - Spain) and my soul has always tended to admire the disparity of musical styles that were born over the years in the United States of America. I sincerely believe that the American musical culture has managed to create, capture and mix in the best way many musical styles that were born there or were adopted from other countries. With the help of the Internet, throughout these years I have been able to discover musical groups from indistinct eras (especially from the 70s, without doubt my favourite era because its genuinity, originality and sincerity, freshness, natural and not processed instruments sound, etc) that were born there and that, if not for this way, I would not have had the pleasure of knowing and enjoying . I am captivated by the ease with which styles are fused and the richness that it supposes. I realized that the southern United States is where a disparity of styles was born and converged in the best way. IMHO, Georgia could be the perfect epicenter and the best crossroad (rock, blues, jazz, soul, funk, country, ...). I discovered Barefoot Jerry from this way. Totally unknown in my country. You can feel that they are studio musicians (thanks Mr. Wayne Moss and Mr. Mac Gayden!) And that, despite they made several albums and have different group members, they could not find a specific style. But I appreciate its richness and originality. Their music smokes and grooves into this fusion of very well played styles. That video seems very genuine of the time. I can appreciate in the concert the late and missed Jim Covald (RIP. guitar, bass and vocals), Si Edwards (drums), Russ Hicks (steel guitar), and, obviously, Wayne Moss (bass, guitar and vocals). So the recording may be from the "You Can't Get Off with Your Shoes On" album era. It is a pity that it do not have audio, but with the images you can already sense the happiness from the people and enjoy the musical moment. Lucky those who were there! SmallWonderStudio, thanks for posting this gem!

      Well I'm sure your English is much better than mine! Thank you for your thoughtful reply. Your reflections on the music and the time in which it was made are very astute and pretty much right-on target. It was a great time for the many diverse musical styles found here in the states. I also connected with the wonderful music that these guys made both collectively and individually. All the best to you from here in the USA.

    • @Incognito1969
      @Incognito1969 Před 3 lety

      @@smallwonderstudio8866 Thanks for answering. I don't think my English is better than yours. Can you mean your Catalan or Spanish? Hahaha... I’m glad and sincerely thank you for appreciating my comment. In my quest to find unknown 70s era jewels, I have discovered great albums totally unknown to me and unfairly dismissed and ignored by the vast majority. I have never set barriers for myself in terms of styles (I think that in many cases it has been a mistake to pigeonhole different music bands into a specific style, especially those who precisely wanted to get out of that pigeonhole by composing and playing what they really wanted). I adore, for example, bands like Steely Dan or Little Feat, which, to a different extent, played what they liked and to which a disparity of styles can be appreciated. For this reason, I like to share my found underrated jewels. So below I leave you a list of 3 albums completely unknown to the general public and unjustly forgotten by the great mass, which, from my point of view, are authentic masterpieces of music: - Crazed Hipsters (1972) - Finnigan and Wood - Dinnertime (1972) - Alex Taylor - New Beginnings (1975) - Larry Jon Wilson Good music connects us as outsiders, makes us happy, makes us better people, so helps to make a better world. I hope you enjoy it. Peace my friend.
