Feels like a canon episode to me. Very well done in my opinion.
That half-and-half state is a seriously cool addition! I love the added detail where you angle the camera towards the side who's commenting at the time - not to mention that moment where Chi and Ren are both speaking simultaneously, which was surprsingly hype!
Dang this is awsome I was hopeing that you could do a fave arcatype in the futere VANQUISH SOUL absoulte love the deck i dont even know if its meta or not IT JUST LOOKS SICK

I love that the dreamer person has two different personalities. I actually had a pretty similar idea in mind as well. So I’m glad someone else also brought it to light in a very cool way. and seeing pure aroma is crazy!! Loving it

@@ChristianGuy7000 thanks for the comment! The two traps Kaiba had couldn't save him. Ultimate creature of destruction prevents the monster from being destroyed and also destroys attacking monster BUT after battle damage is calculated so Kaiba would still lose all his life points. The other trap needed to be activated when a trap is declared, but it was destroyed before battle via Quintet Magician's effect

Damn this was actually pretty good. Never thought much of VR as a medium, even more as a anime, but this video changed my mind. I would love more of these duels, can the next one have a Ghostrick deck on one of the duelists? Just a suggestion

@@yousef486 you can consider her following the tradition of the main character always having the syllable "Yu" in their name. Technically she doesn't follow the other tradition of having an ace with 2500atk but maybe she doesn't have her true ace yet!

@@katlynwebb8474 this isn't master duel. I made this by hand. But to answer your question, I'm pretty sure Master Duel is on PC and all modern consoles (as well as most consoles from 1 gen ago)

Awesome. Doubtful Kaiba would resort to this, but… he did time travel and possibly strand himself in the past just to PLAy CARDS. I’ve splurged points in Link Evolution to buy packs for A magnet warrior deck.

Seeing yugi cheat kaiba using not only a banned illegal card in timewise he couldnt had xyz since lorewise it was made to stop the bad energy that synchro was using
@Kiaxiou thanks for the comment! I made these decks using the current banlist at the time (with the exception of Magi Magi Magician Girl, which technically is not banned in OCG). And there is a reason why he has xyz, it just hasn't been fully revealed yet. I teased it when Yugi says it "comes from beyond dimensions"

@@JesseJamison-f6ithanks for the comment. in the real dark side of dimensions movie, while Yugi does have a new disk, he still uses physical cards during his duel with Kaiba. Unfortunately I couldn't find a model for his disk

@@JesseJamison-f6i yes I wrote the script and the duel, did all of the animation (besides some monster animations that came with the models). The models themselves I found all across the internet. I also directed the voice actors who all did an amazing job.
@@crispy_synchron I still find it hilarious and kind of sad that seto kaiba will never rest, and he will never stop, until he wants and for all defeats the pharaoh.. he will even bring him back to life just to defeat him.. it's just sad.

Man I just came across this video and the duel was awesome! Even the lines feel like they are in-character as if like if this duel happened like this they would exactly say what they said in the vid- and the way it shows that yugi surpassed atem and kaiba is great! The support and synchro/xyz monsters they had, the support! It was awesome and great! You earned a sub my dear buddy! Oh and also- it felt like kaiba was about to win. I kinda wanna make a deck based on both of their decks in this vid- can you pls tell me all cards you used in their decks for this vid(I mean the cards in their hands that we never saw since I noticed chaos emperor dragon)?

People like you are the ones that should be writing the duels in the anime.
Stumbled upon this and have to give praise and thanks, amazing job! From the character writing to the faithfulness to the OG cards and the retrains that came after, this is absolute gold. My only feedback would be that I did notice the pharaoh getting blasted back by Neo Blue-Eyes’ attack where Kaiba was never physically affected, even when he took 3k to the chin from Dark Magician of Chaos. Also, I think Kaiba would have struggled to accept this loss as readily as he does here. Even if just for a moment, I feel like he would have been in disbelief that he was wrong about Yugi after all these years. But these are just my opinions and you and your team did an amazing with this!
