Nice one! Thanks for the video! What about the Bolt of Gransax? It’s ash of war is way better than common Lighting Spear. As an AOE incantation I can recommend Lannseax’s Glaive. Chargable, tons of damage, very useful during your exploration.

Check out a video about Holy Damage just released by Chrightt called "Bugged since the start?" He very expertly and with evidence proves Holy is entirely bugged to its core in PvP, and the information he details may be useful in future buildcrafting with even a single toe dipped into the PvP pool.

Not gonna lie I came in here 200% certain you were using the sword but not using a dragon transformation threw me entirely off guard

I just want to say. I found this weapon and love it. Found other main stream builds for it, but this one has so much class fantasy and flavor to it. Well done.

Also, on a different note: Consider maybe antithesis build. All darkness themed. Check out the Shadow Militia hood with the Night Cavalry set, it's one of my favorites. It goes HARD with the Ancient Meteoric Ore Greatsword in particular, but it has a flash of light effect so might not work for the theme of the build.

With your choice of shield I will say: Leda's chest looks EXCEPTIONAL with the Tree Sentinel boots and gloves. Not sure how they compare with your choice for poise, but if one uses more incants than melee I think dropping below 51 isn't a critical issue. This also allows for the use if the Circlet of Light for even more damage with the LED pillar! I've also found the sweet spot Mind for me is 38. At maxed flasks a cerulean tear will top you off almost perfectly every single time if you can get that bar emptied completely. Also, if this build should be taken into pvp, I STRONGLY urge you to use Law of Regression, as the range is enormous and with the dlc there's SO many new ways to buff. This really puts phantoms and hosts alike on the defensive.

i really wish Light of Miquella didnt have a 72 faith requirement. I do a fairly similar build, but i put 30 str for erdtree greatshield and 31 int for all ring incantations. Sadly requires a lot of levels

Thanks I've been trying to formulate a decent arcane archer for a while now, spuds paladin ice archer is decent as well but I think this works best in a group

UPDATE: One of the patches since recording this video has updated the Weapon, as of 2024/07/03 the changes are: 1. Sword now deals mostly Physical with a little Magic Damage (Previously purely Physical) 2. Intelligence requirement of 16 has been removed and replaced with a 19 Arcane Requirement 3. Scaling has changed to Str: B Dex: E and Arc: D (Despite this, Arcane still scales pretty well, gaining approximately 70 AR when brought from the minimum of 19 up to 50) How does this effect the build? 1. You no longer need any points in Intelligence 2. Weapon is more viable for users who only want to put in the minimum 19 Arcane Requirement and focus on Strength, but still performs comparably to the video if going the Arcane focused route. 3. Flame, Grant me Strength provides a little less value now that it doesn't deal purely Physical Damage, but is still worth using as it's roughly 80% Physical 20% Magic. Thankfully despite those changes, it still rocks! Good luck!

Hey, I noticed that the weapon screenshot you included lists the weapon as having a B scaling in Arcane. Is this what it is in game? I only ask because everywhere else I’m seeing shows a D scaling even when maxed. The only reason I’d be hesitant to use it is because of that Arcane scaling. Thanks!

Throwadin was my go to for this run through Elden ring, had a buddy drop me a smithscript hammer for a lvl 1 wretch, absolutely in LOVE with this weapon and playstyle! your vid really helped with my talisman selection as there's NO good guide videos out there for where to even start with talismans in general!
