I tell the toothless critters here in AZ that the best timber operators/producers come from the upper midwest and upper east USA areas. These people down here are so dumb it takes them two hours to watch the show 60 minutes. Getting 24 bucks a ton here for their wood roadside and they cant make it. I mean..they got them stamping the wood, painting the wood, weighing the wood and stuff that went out in the late 1800s up there. I spent 50 plus years logginf in the UP and northern Wis and nobody can compare to the quality and business mind of those from up there. BTW-the average stumpge price here for their pine? Buck fifty to two fifty a ton. Thats for wood that averages 12 to 17 inches chest high.
I just started falling with my waratah, eucalyptus and Tanoak. I've been holding onto the trees as they go down to start delimbing and measuring. Why do you let go of them as they go down. Easier on the waratah?
@@logcutternorthernlowermi9056 wow nice another commenter commented the guess of engine model he thinks its a C18 My guess C-16 600HP stock Or C-15 ( tuned up a bit) One of these 3 engine models Be cool to hear from ya 👍 Kudos keep trucking brother awesome ride
We don’t grow aspen like that in western Pa., thank God!
curious how heavy that is. In Ontario we can haul 63500 on a 5 axle trailer. Michigan and their caterpillars
Fat cat just purring away.
Love that big Cat, don’t like seeing mud brought into the main road. Nature of the job, but it’s a pain to have to drive over/through it.
куда ему столько колес
Appreciate the video of processing big hardwood logs. How do you like the fixed head VS dangle head?
No wast...👍
Is there a difference in the processor heada and the fellling heads or is a 622 just a 622 nothing different

Ryan Seppanen ?
@@logcutternorthernlowermi9056 it did take you 4min to cut one tree. 15 tree's an hour is to slow to make money don't care how big they are
Why aren't you processing them? Doing it by hand for better grade?
Why such a short bar?
20 inch is all i ever use seams to work good. Don't always cut wood this big
@@logcutternorthernlowermi9056 I agree I use 24" and cut timber in middle and east tennessee.
