With the recent passing of our old man, Jay put together a rifle hunt from 2014 in NE Utah, which was basically our last extended hunting trip with him. We had a fantastic time and were grateful to take this trip while we could.

Guys this was legit! I like the spot and stalk too. no one really talks about this method but its how ive killed all mine.

That buck's face looks like a whitetail. His tail is not like quite like a muley but has a black tip. That is definitely a unique buck.

Great video. Sorry for your loss. I was lucky to have had 28 hunting seasons with my dad who passed in 2013. He was my hunting partner and I cannot ever replace him so Ive been solo ever since. Sometimes its tough out there by myself even at my age but then I find a spot and sit down and can just file thru all the memories in my mind that we had shared...
Losing anyone can be difficult, but a loved one who is also your hunting partner...(super tough) Like you said, memories- or sights and smells-. And depending on what you're going after kind of limits you for distance now that you're hunting solo. (At least it would, me.) Stay safe out there.
Really enjoyed the video. I was lucky enough to spend 10 deer camps in Colorado with my dad before he passed on. This video and your dad reminded me of those times.
Thank you, I remember talking to our family back then about how we better try and get at least one more adventure in. Certainly glad we did. I'm glad you had good adventures as well.

I'm the younger one (Jaysen typing this) and once I get loosened up for the day I feel really good, but every now and then something pops out of place and I'm like, 'Uh-oh'. I'm not sure how Joe feels. I've been going bald, definitely, but I certainly think Joe looks the same.

I got to say I think the Kimber blast good product however it shouldn't be recommended alone I believe that in a real-life scenario you would not have known she had that gun therefore you would have not been ducking if you would have shot you in your nose and in your eyes twice you would have been blinded for at least a good time for her to get away
Yeah- it's tough to imitate a real-life scenario. Simply because you know something will happen already changes the outcome. If we did it agin, the shot placement would be different.
