The Dewalt 20v is just as light as the competitor's 12v. I am extremely pleased with the overall performance and battery life of this tool. As far as oscillators go, they just aren't very ergonomic tools. The dewalt oscillators have an offset handle that do make them somewhat more ergonomic than the competitors' oscillators.

I have had these bits for years and not known what to do with them. Thanks to Comments below. I now feel comfortable trying this.

This design does not look right. I can see this damaging and chipping the tiles and thats on the straight lines let alone on corner edges. I would not recommend this. We've been removing grout for years now and nothing beats the dremel 4000, with the Angle Attachment (575), and the diamond wheel 545. If you need to remove grout and have steady hands you'll be done in no time.

Funny fact, for plastic cutting You need only paper sheet (xero or other monolit paper) cutted into regular circle for regular pin (not ez click) and this cut plastic like hell with less precision. For this you can use yo those useless dremel grain paper wheel added into some cheap boxes with dremel add ons.

If only the sanding band would go on the 430 mandrel. This video makes it look easy, but I have resorted to using Vaseline on the rubber piece. And even then the sanding band doesn't want to slide on. It's a horrible design.

My Dremel is indispensable for small tasks. I've never used the routing attachment, but there's no way in hell I'm considering using it to route the recess for that flame. It will require multiple passes from a full-size router! Perhaps it's worth looking into it to route ONLY the outline, since you can work much finer with it than a full-size router. The rest of the inside waste: full size! Also, he glibly skipped over the "then sand the flame down": it was about 10 mm proud of the surface! That alone will take multiple passes with a planer. Or multiple Dremels, a lot of bits and a spare weekend.

Really enjoyed watching this. The craftsmanship and mix of tried and true tips make me want to try creating a few of these pieces with my 4300.

FYI You should never tighten down on a collet without a tool in it, otherwise you risk deforming and potentially ruining your collet. Just wanted to point out for those with limited knowledge/ experience that this video demonstrates bad form lol
