New Engine Build! | 302 Windsor Motor Build Making Progress | Ford Mustang Nitrous SBF | New Pistons
all brand new direction!
our 302 engine build is almost starting from scratch. since I got Facebook market place special used 302 pistons which will work with our 2.02 intake valves in our AFR 165 Renegade Cylinder Heads!
but those pistons are .040 over which is bigger than our STD bore block we have been building......however it just happens to be the size of our old 302 block we pulled out of the car last winter!
so now its a race to get this old windsor ford block caught up to build with our new pistons, but it is going fast!
also I show off the new garage setup and talk a little bit about project XMC.
and I also give a huge thanks to @honestpeytonsspeedshop @thejunkyardnecromancer @6percentrecycled @wittysgarage @PickinwithPickle @doesnothinspecial6680 @NewGuysGuitar for surprising me on a live stream with housewarming gifts!!

7:16 friction,surface area bla bla..BS! what about the double size area in the center of the pipe where air has nothing to rub on? lol
@@jb-ye3hp its not double, single pipe will have more area in the center were there is no friction.
I had a 67 289 fastback , for many years I got really tired of crawling underneath and bending over the engine …water pump’s , heater cores , starters , alternator, exhaust pipes and mufflers, battery box issues, points and condenser and sometimes the starter would engage with no key in the ignition. Loved the car and hated it at the same time.

I have a 2017 Tundra 5.7 V8 with a Y-pipe (no mufflers). I am thinking of removing the Y-pipe and running straight dual pipes straight back from the cats. I am looking for more sounds only. Don't care about power. What is your professional opinion? Is it worth the $350 the exhaust shop quoted me for? Thank you.

There is no vacuum. The movement of air is caused by pressure difference. On the outside there is 1 bar athmosferic pressure. Therefore average pressure inside manifold must be higher than that
@@S54 pressure inside the chamber as exhust valve opens us higher that atmospheric pressure. But once the exhaust valve shuts and the column of exhaust gasses continues down the pipe it creates a low pressure (vacuum) in the pipe as it travels down it. The gasses continue traveling down the pipe because of momentum at that point.
Im not sure what everyone is "b!tchen" about, and i haven't watched the video yet but i will say now that squish and quench are two different parts of the "combustion process"... Squish first quench after... I don't want to write a long "book" about it now, maybe after I watch the video...
But here's the question is that antenna functioning? Only reason I ask is because I deleted the radio in the Capri and will be doing the antenna delete kit soon. Take care Dan

@@newguysgarage6802 Because I use to build and tweak them..my suggestion was do to not being sure which cam you're going with, even the lifters and springs play a huge role, not to mention which trans be it manual or automatic or rear-end gears.. the 650cfm can handle multiple applications where as the 750cfm tends to be temperamental, such as late response, overfeeding....all that porting and polishing just allows air and fuel to move a bit smoother.. bigger doesn't mean better not on carburetors..been doing this for years..
@@revzone3544 no such thing as too much cfm, too little booster signal is the problem. But why would you build an engine.....and not build the carburetor too lol Just slapping a 750cfm carburetor on without going through it and tuning it to the application of course will bog and not run as well. Down sizing the cfm to fix part throttle crusing is not the way to do it lol
@@newguysgarage6802 Thx for asking questions..still need details..what fuel you running are you gonna use a pressure regulator. What are you using the car for, street, strip crossover? I give you props for interest to build..however after hundreds of hrs building and tuning engines..the old guys like me can get you where you want to be without so much trial and error, which cost time and money.. by the way you can have to much cfm, it causes back pressure and heat build up..
