In mods and randomizers I do often like to use two combined herbs, mostly when in yellow or orange caution status. Instead of combining three green herbs I like to save some individual green herbs in hope of finding red herbs to combine them with. This was my first time actually playing this mod so I wasn’t sure what counts of herbs and ammo would be throughout the rest of the mod. Luckily the mod gives enough of both to get through the game in true survival horror fashion, at least on normal difficulty. I encourage anyone who love to play classic RE to play this. It’s a great mod!

I’m not sure why it doesn’t work in the randomizer but I sure wish it did!

It’s because the small amount of voice lines for those characters. They’ll repeat their dialogue often and it never makes for fun or interesting character interactions. I do like all of those characters though. Is there a specific character you would like me to use?

Mostly because of the limited amount of voice lines for those characters. No worries though as there are plenty of randomizers to come that will include some of those characters.

You can by launching the RE tool app and selecting the settings tab. From there find the path for the RE game you would like to use it with, where ever the folder or files for the game is located on your computer. Then click the home tab on the tool and choose what version of the game you’re going to play (usually sourcenext for re2 and 3), on the drop menu. After that just run the game and the re tool will find the process then just click the “Run” button and it should load right up.

Yeah that’s Jill, she’s just kind of chillin out there lol! At the end the team at Biorand added that little extra ending to their randomizer for RE2. It gives credit to the modders and people that have helped with the project while being interactive. As for the reviewer tool on the side, I wasn’t so sure about it at first neither but it kinda grew on me lol.

I don’t disagree with you. Most of the time a randomizer can be boring, especially just sitting down and watching them. One of the biggest reasons I enjoy playing a randomizer is the random music from throughout the RE series. Every now and then when you get a good seed that hits just right, it can be pretty entertaining. Either way I still enjoy playing them.

Yeah the layout of the station, sewer, and lab will always be the same. Nostalgia is a big factor for me as I’ve been running the halls of the RPD since 1998 when the game first released. The atmosphere of the RPD has never gotten old or boring to me and the randomizer helps to keep things fresh and fun for one of my favorite video games!

I don’t usually like to use fas, I prefer mixing herbs but I’ll take what the randomizer gives me. As for the dodge mechanic in original RE3, it can be very janky so I’ve never bothered to “master” it and a lot of the time it can hurt rather than help. Although the magnum in OG RE3 is very powerful, I find using freeze rounds in the grenade launcher more fun and satisfying!

It’s the original RE 2 Sourcenext version on pc using Biorand as the randomizer. The team at Biorand has made lots of characters in the RE series as skins for Leon and Claire. biorand.net is their website if you want to check them out!

It's a modernized unofficial soundtrack mod for the SourceNext PC version of RE2. It's beautifully done and feels more like a remaster to me!
