On our way to a casual tournament in Canada on Saturday 9/16/23 (filmed this on the way- couldn’t upload until next day). So many new character updates, but we wanted to talk about a few we were superrrr excited to try out. He looks great. I like your stone recipe. My quick and dirty basing is usually just AK Streaking Grime and then wiping it with paper towel. But I'll give your solution a go for the statue.
Thanks! I like to keep it simple and work with what I have lol. You could also drybrush some green in spots if you want that “moss was growing” kinda look too. Done that before.

Are you painting from a cross legged position on the couch!? Oh my ergonomics. Lol, thats the most comfortable ive seen anyone paint.
Yeah I have a desk in the game room I shouldddd paint at but it’s insanely uncomfortable for me to paint in any position other than this lol. I like to turtle up! Hahaha!

I (wife-Alyssa) didn’t start out playing the hobbies! I got into it from building and painting minis- and became invested in my work and wanted to play too! That’s my advice for anyone who wants their S.O to play with them- start slow and hobby TOGETHER

Thanks!!! I figured since I’m not painting like a pro I should say why. Most painting tutorials I get disappointed when my result doesn’t look as good as theirs so I’m finding quick and simple ways that work for my style and ability- and hopefully that helps others too!

Thanks!!! The trackers are actually from 2 different sources lol. One set (5 slightly lighter ones) came from a friend who has a 3D printer- we had these first. Then we wanted more so we got the other set (6 dark black with the holder tray) from Etsy “Cops3Dshop”
