Olds got right what Chevy got wrong with the Corvair Monza Spyder turbo. Olds: Small, light, quick turbo, exhaust wastegate, high compression ratio and water-methanol injection. I used a Holley water-methanol injection rig on my 1980 turbocharged Mazda RX-7. The Jetfire was truly ahead of its time. But some of the terms... "Turbo Rocket Fluid." Seriously. Unfortunately Olds ended up retro fitting many of these cars with a simple 4 barrel carb instead of the turbo. The customers didn't understand the importance of the methanol injection and if the "Rocket Fluid" tank was empty, a protection mechanism effectively crippled the turbo.

A while back there was the guy that owned this and his interview story on youtube. He said he saw it on the side of a road for sale back then and it caught his attention. He thought it might be valuable one day. Guess he was right, LOL.

Wow wow wow… mind blowing collection, absolutely incredible amount of high dollar Mopar cars & parts. I could only take so much before a headache would form thinking about all the possibilities. I'd basically start selling everything off you weren't going to use for personal "Keepers"- between the economy, the "Aging out" of the demographic, the lack of younger generations not being into or being able to afford to buy/restore...a lot of that stuff will lose value, further rot, or- ultimately- get tossed. Sure some folks will take offense, but guess what? Look at the Model T & A era. Pre-war, post-war. '50's-mid-'60's. Those markets, the bottom has or is falling out. Same is coming for all this. M-code, 2nd Gen Hemi cars? I'd not pay a premium for them- I'd rather have a clone or resto-mod I could drive all over & enjoy. You aren't going to live forever & if you can't enjoy them, make memories with it, what is the point? "I had the coolest , 1-of-1 of this at MACN?" Yippeee.

Tell me what you think..ok.. I think Megaparts needs to realize they should organize their shop. It is not hard to build racks for storing sets of wheels etc, thus clearing up a lot of floor space. Not to mention the time is money part of business and rummaging through piles of stuff to find parts for a sale takes a lot of time. And like so many of the other mopar hoarders, business or not, STOP USING CARS AS A SHELF! Fenders, radiators and wheel do not need to be stored on top of M code cars! I'm going to go yell at some kids on my lawn now...
