It irritates me how this illeterate narrator refers to that kid as a "snack" even jokingly, referring to lion seeing the kid as a prey. Well, don't you know lions too have kids? That means they, like most other animals, have mother instincts. They not only care for their cubs but given a chance they have shown to take care of other animals' babies too. As for human babies, first of all, God made human flesh not attractive to the wild animals. Even though wild animals overpower us significantly and have more weaponry to deal with us, they try to avoid us unless we are being intrusive to their territory. It is in their predisposition that they are not hostile to the humans. So no, lions or any other big cats do not see human babies as snacks.
