I Just bought these for my 2007 Mercury Grand Marquis Gs and the Low Beam shine Better than the High Beam

I have a 2010 Evan rude 225. It's on a pontoon boat. We put a new switch in a new key switch and started up. Ran fine for 30 or 40 minutes. We parked 3 and a 1/2 4 hours later. Every time I turn the key switch I blow the fuse on the side of the motor...10 amp. It also works the tilt trim.But for some reason all we do is blow the fuse. I pulled the motor cover off and noticed the left hand thermostat cover was broken. I've never had that cover all since the beginning of Spring but it's broken so I don't know if the motor got hot. We have no reason to conclude it. Did I mean we drove around the boat for 40 minutes. Don't know. I just don't know what's going on with the fuse.

After I saw your video, I replaced the diaphragm (41), both gaskets (42) since I was in the area, I figured I would put in a new set, and that dang O-Ring (40). My motor is a 2007 and that O-Ring was hard as a rock and shiny, it was actually hard to see because it took the shape of the Reed valve diaphragm thing it was on. As a matter of fact, the O-Ring broke getting it out. I put on the new O-Ring and put everything back together. Probably a 20 minute job. My engine starts and runs perfectly. The Prime Start hasn't worked this good since 2007 and I keep an extra O ring in my parts now if it ever acts up again. Thank you for helping me out! nice kicker I have been informed that the kicker needs to be on port side so it's prop wash won't interfer w/ the transducer (which are always on star side) is this more crapola misinformation that's going around nowadays.do you tie the kicker to the main engine an use the main engin as a rudder? nice video

Hard to start 70hp with red lever in normal position when cold. If I move red lever on prime start to middle position starts right away . Once started move red lever back to normal position . ..after that it Fires up instantly the rest of the day . Do you think the o ring is the issue here ? Diaphragm is in good condition . One of the Reed valve seemed a bit too open . Closed the distance some but no change .

An old 2 stroke main motor isn't worth much in the first place so you don't need to worry about the hours. But the problem with a trolling on old fashioned carb'd 2 stroke main is that you don't have adequate control over your troll speed. A modern 4 stroke or DI 2 stroke is fine and most offer precise RPM control with troll modes but you just can't do it on a 30 year old 2 stroke.

Would a 2004 170cc have this issue?

Appreciate your video. I'm doing it now on a 200hp johnson. I replaced all of the engine electric from top to bottom, all thats left to do is timing and fingers crossed. Again thank you and wish me luck👍

I bought a 40hp two stroke I believe that it's all good. Carbs were rebuilt a year ago. It doesn't start as easily as I would think. I crank on it about half a dozen times or more in intervals. Once warm it starts good. I don't understand this unit. It has key push down and button in the middle of throttle/ gear selector. I don't understood what it all does. Never owned one like this. They told me to push and hold button on gear selector while turning key. I primed it. It just doesn't start very easily. Battery drops a bit by the time it starts. Any suggestions?. 165 G3 Yamaha. 2004.

holy crap i been runnin with those rod lockers full of water for god knows how long. cleared the drain holes today. i am so glad i came across this video. do you know what kind of material the covers are made of? mine are cracked on the edge....also do you have any info on how to convert to rod storage?

I have been thinking about that same idea for a year, I am going the same route. Besides it's extra security if your out far and your main engine has issues, good piece of mind.

You bought the wrong model for what your customer needed then you complain that the unit doesn’t have GPS. Do the research before you buy and if you buy the wrong unit for the job then don’t complain that the manufacturer created it! Sounds like someone I know who needed a truck to tow a boat but bought a Ford Mustang because they liked the look then complained it wouldn’t tow their boat. For people who already have GPS on their NMEA 2000 network then this is a great model. For people who need GPS then this is the wrong one to buy. First video I saw on this channel, after hearing that you blame the manufacturer for your wrong decision this is last video I will watch from this channel.

Hello, i have a yamaha 60F 2 stroke and i thing i have more consumption than normal, not only on its way, also at idle . The engine has also difficult cold start(starts only with the red valve enrichment) so i am planning to change the o-ring and the solenoid to the prime start. The boat is ok (weight distribution, normal weight e.t.c.) . What should i do so i dismiss the idea of the more consumption? in my plans are also to put a new carburetor repair kit. Thanks a lot!
