Well it looked the part. It’s the Pjke to Bike trail in Pennsylvania. Officially closed and “at your own risk” but it was well worth it. Nature claimed the tarmac and the tunnels filled with graffiti. I found it amusing- both apocalyptic feeling and a quiet corner in the Pennsylvania landscape to walk on human history.

You should carry some sort of a weapon or at least a pepper spray or something. Im 6ft2 40 years old and I'd definitely be carrying if i was to do a long ass journey like that. Big respect🤜 for going all the way by foot. I'll be waiting for your book to come out. Many blessings 🙏🏽

Your story has just appeared on my FB news page via a BBC article and I had to look you up. I've just watched you in a TEDx talk video in Edinburgh and now found your CZcams channel . What's funny is I live in Littleborough England which the Pennine Way passings through . I would have bought you lunch or supper at the White House pub where many Pennine Way walkers call in to recharge themselves before carrying on . I truly hope that your experiences and adventures have brought you the solace and meaning that your soul was searching .... and if not the universe will guide you towards another quest . x

Hi what is the make of your trolley . I am going to do a 3000 mile walk from northern england to southern spain along the coast all the way . I am turning 60 when I start my adventure and am thinking I don't want to carry a rucksack this would be ideal for me 😊

From ask the walking I only fear tunnels....but I wear dark shades all the time. Specifically Norway with numerous very long ones...some even 7 kilometres...glad you survived the dungeons haha
